The hallway that runs the length of deck 3 narrow, dimly lit, and somewhat claustrophobic. The walls are painted a drab gray color and the lighting is provided by a series of bare light bulbs hanging from the ceiling at uneven intervals, casting harsh shadows and creating a sense of unease. The floor is covered in worn linoleum and creaks underfoot, adding to the sense of discomfort. The air is often stuffy and stale, with the faint odor of diesel fuel and other mechanical fluids permeating the space. Along the hallway, small metal doors with peepholes lead to the cramped crew cabins. Each door is identical, with a small metal nameplate screwed onto it indicating the occupant's name and rank. The sound of footsteps and muffled voices from neighboring cabins can be heard through the thin walls, adding to the sense of confinement and isolation. Interspersed between the crew cabins are crew lounges.
At one end of the hallway is the engine room, with the other being the crew kitchens and storage. ඞ
