I believe I made this point earlier. The coconut is not heavy, yes, but when dropped from a large height it could easily be fatal. What I observed in the Lounge that lead me to believe this is a small strand of brown thread hanging off the chandelier. I believe the culprit attached the coconut to the chandelier with their rope and hung it up from a large height so it would prove fatal upon dropping on the culprit's head. Believe me when I say the bruise on Shing's head was heavy enough to be fatal. Although this doesn't change much... the culprit would still require a knife to inflict the stab wounds. I think that the culprit for Shing's murder is not Siren. When you look at the weight of the items involved alone, a Kitchen Knife, Lamp, Coconut, and Rope would be far too much for a single person to carry. Although it could be as Rin says, that Siren was setting up for a murder and was interrupted by the time reversal... I believe there is still too much uncertainty to reach a conclusion at this point.

I fear we have reached an Impasse. I must call upon the mastermind for clarification.
HEY! WOULD THE HOODED MAN PLEASE CONFIRM THE HEIGHT OF THE ROOF IN THE LOUNGE. WHILE MANY ITEMS DROPPED FROM A HIGH ENOUGH HEIGHT COULD KILL SOMEONE I MUST DETERMINE IF THE COCONUT, OR ANYTHING FOR THE MATTER, WOULD HAVE HAD ENOUGH TIME TO REACH TERMINAL VELOCITY!

Game Physics Clarification:
In order for instantaneous death by blunt-force trauma to occur, the culprit must be using an item of around 4 weight, and must apply a great force on it. A drop from a large height could be used to substitute for the force, but not the weight.
As for the height of the Lounge, I cannot measure the exact height, but I can assure you that it is quite high.

Normally, I'd try to avoid using verbal bullets like this. But I feel this is necessary to back up Kirigiri's claims, and therefore, assure everyone. Verbal Bullet - Cause of Death Shing Meteoryte was definitely killed by the coconut. My assumptions were that he was stabbed first, and then bashed once or multiple times with great force by the coconut, but with the blood as it is, the coconut was definitely the fatal blow. Needless to say, the blow was bleeding, meaning Shing Meteoryte definitely died by blunt force trauma to the cranium. Whether the knife wounds were first or second, they were not the fatal wounds. The fatal wound was definitely on his head. Though, I still think the stabs were first... But that's just me... Wait a minute...

Oh. Now that I have that info... A trap definitely did not kill Shing. So I stress my theory once again. Shing was stabbed multiple times in the back, and the finishing blow or blows were dealt by the coconut! There was no trap. Just a final blow right to the head!

Well then, let me give you some clarifications. Lets see... Miss Rin Kaenbyou, you assume throughout this escapade you have dreamed up for me that I had washed the bloody clothing; when the clothing found in room 1 were evidently still bloody from what I've heard.
That is the wrong set of clothes. Kaito Kid mentioned that he visited Extra Room 1 right after murder and clothes were already there and bloody. Later by the end of the Investigation I too visited that room and they were still there and still bloody. But, the clothes that I mentioned being washed aren't those. Lets just think about it, if culprit was intelligent enough to take clean clothes to change to after the murder, why would they even have to use their old original clothes for the murder and change into new ones afterwards when it will definitely bring suspicious upon them? The answer is simple: they just won't. Anyone would be smart enough to wear new clothes during murder and then change back to their old clean original clothes after getting new ones dirty. And that is precisely what you did, since as long as I remember, the bloody clothes in the room weren't ones you wore originally. But, you still managed to accidentally get blood on your original clothes when stabbing Shing. And that is precisely why you tried to wash them. And because you couldn't use water at night, you had no choice but to change into another, 2nd set of new clean clothes because its better to be suspected cause of new clothes than cause of bloody clothes. And now, about the rope apparently hidden in my room, I believe Sir Kaito Kid can answer that. During the investigation period, he requested entrance to my room, which I allowed. He searched it for a bit, before leaving.
It is a Devil's Proof, you cannot prove that you just didn't hide the rope or anything else connected to crime elsewhere. It is assumed that I first killed The deceased, Sir Shing Meteoryte, stabbing the knife into his back, and then killed Chairy Potter... With the same knife? Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe the knife was left in Sir Meteoryte's back. And I don't believe any other knives were stolen from the kitchen. Again, correct me if I am incorrect. Therefore, how would this make sense? Are you saying I would have had time to stab him multiple times AFTER the murder of Sir Chairy Potter? Or are you saying I simply put the knife back into his back?
I understand that you must be very flustered right now, it is no surprise, you are being accused of murder after all. But you should still have listened to my theory better. From the very beginning of it, I very clearly mentioned that Shing was stabbed AFTER the Chairy Potter's death.
And now that I finished with the accused... If one looks over the body of Meteoryte you will notice that his front is completely soaked in blood, while his back has blood concentrated only near the knife wounds. As was apparent there was a pool of blood in the lounge and what look like drag marks. Using that blood pool I will alter your perceptions of the Instantaneous death bullet.
The bullet claims that Shing died instantly. You claim the coconut is what killed him so its obvious when the Coconut connected it ended his life in a single blow. Unless I am mistaken, that coconut isn't terribly heavy. It would barely leave a bruise if it was dropped on your head and you claim that such a blow killed him? I propose that Meteoryte was stabbed PRIOR to death, but none of the knife injuries were immediately fatal. He was laid out on the floor for a time allowing blood to pool beneath him, soaking his front side. The killer arrived and finished him off with the coconut and then dragged him to the hallway.
Meteoryte died INSTANTLY upon contact with the coconut, BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN THE COCONUT STRUCK HIM FIRST!!!
That whole statement goes against the trap theory since I cannot imagine a trap that will stab person multiple times in the back... That way couldn't be done unless it was made personally. But even then, coconut weights only 2 and I doubt one would be able to deal a lethal blow with it in just a single strike. And Shing did have only a single blow mark on his head. Even if someone somehow managed to deal a lethal blow to his hand in just 1 strike of coconut that weights 2, I highly doubt a girl like Siren or any girl at all would be able of that.On a side note that might be related. Did anybody piece together the ceramic shards in the Lounge to find out what they were before becoming shards? Few hours before the first body announcement, while I was going around the mansion, I saw Hagakure throwing many dining plates at the chandelier in the Lounge... I imagine that that is both the reason for ceramic fragments and lights going out in the Lounge...And to the multiple people who say that coconut dropping alone wouldn't be enough to deal a lethal instantaneous trauma to Shing's head. If trap was indeed in place and rope was tied to the coconut, doesn't it mean that coconut falling on the head would weight coconut_weight+rope_weight? If rope weights at least 2 which I cannot confirm as I haven't seen it or held it than it would mean that together they would weight at least 4. And that is enough weight for them to cause instantaneous lethal trauma by dropping from the chandelier. Thus rather than assuming that someone managed to stab a living awake person multiple times before finally finishing them off with a stand-alone coconut in a single blow without even letting them scream, I do think it would be wiser to think that trap was indeed in place.

Forgive me, but I've thought of something very possible. And this is what I would like to say. This murder has two culprits! Let's see... Someone who has something to gain from killing Shing, someone who could kill him without getting bloodied, someone who could have set up a trap like that... Someone who could have killed without just the coconut... How about I consider a missing murder weapon? All of these and other parts of the murder... Who better to do this than a complete master of illusions? That's right... Kaito Kid! I hereby formally indict you for the murder of Mr. Shing Meteoryte!

It is not impossible that Shing was killed by Kaito, but what evidence do you have that points to that fact? You hint at many details but do not elaborate on any of them, but accuse Kaito under the pretense of him being a complete master of illusions. Look at his title, Ultimate Phantom Thief, where in there does the word illusion appear?
If you want to continue accusing Kaito I need to see some evidence instead of implying that through magical shenanigans he did it, kept clean, and perfectly hid the evidence.

The theory that Shing was stabbed first, then killed by a blow to the head has some merit. However, there is no place in this theory where the trap in the Lounge fits in... It's also strange that the coconut dropped from a large height would not kill instantly. Perhaps the coconut was used as a red herring and something else was dropped? But then the culprit would need an item of 4 weight to use in their trap... Apollo Justice, while your accusation of Kaito Kid is interesting, like Togami mentioned, you have no evidence supporting your claims. If you can back up your theory, I would like to hear it.

One last point on the trap idea. Lets assume that the killer did manage to get some item high enough to drop on and kill someone. We keep talking about this trap, but how in the world did this trap work and what triggered it? Hagakure destroyed the lights with Ceramic plates, by throwing them at the lights. Someone saw and verified that Hagakure was throwing plates at the chandelier. They did not witness any strange contraptions or coconuts in the room at the time, I hope they would have mentioned it if they did. Which means that the person who built the trap had to do it in the dark! Unless one of you has a portable light source, I would find it very difficult to construct a trap at the highest point of the room that triggers to drop something on someone's head precisely in pitch black darkness. Unless someone can prove the trap was constructed before the lights were out or show me the existence of a portable light source I will not acknowledge the use of a complex trap in this case.

Hey! I didn't even aim at the lights when I threw my plates! They were totally intact when I had finished! ... But it is true that I had made a mess in there...
