Twisted trees of many hued licorice are laden with sugar plums. Honey drips from the branches binding the various parts of the tree together. Fairy rings of shiitake mushrooms spread around the grove, bearing a strange resemblance to a large lizard when viewed from above. A blanket of sugared plum peels had been set out near the chocolate moat with a bread basket holding sandwiches and grape soda that nobody wanted. Across the moat, the pancake palace can takes a dominant position on top of a flipped bowl.
