"Water goes to the lungs, hence why you may have found blood there, Kamui. Problem is, in order for the body to have spewed up any 'blood', Sakuya would have had to be alive to have reacted in such a manner. Otherwise, if she died by drowning only, then the lurid water would be in her lungs... assuming that no one tried CPR. I propose that she was murdered after attempts of drowning or she had an injury that could have caused blood to spurt out of the mouth: from a heavy blunt blow to the chest for example."

While the possibility that the killer nailed the boards to the cart after arriving to the pool is possible, it isn't likely.
The victim was possibly taken to the Pool to prolong the time it would take for someone to find the body, though I have nothing to support this.
The reason Sakuya did not fight back was probably because the killer used the anesthetic taken from the present timeline.
Meaning the screwdriver was the murder weapon, and she probably coughed up blood due to said injuries.
I do not understand why the killer nailed the boards to the cart. Two reasons come to mind. First, it was a failed attempt to prevent blood from leaking. Second, it was to add weight to the cart, so that it would sink as planned.

The cause of death was partly blood loss as well, so she probably was slightly awake in the water whilst drowning

Well, the culprit didn't need to wait after throwing Sakuya in the pool with the cart. She was nailed to it with boards, and even if she woke up, there was no way she could escape. And if Wine was in the gym, he could have been trying to leave and you found him there, jj. Since you claimed the body was recently killed, Wine is still a suspect.

Edit: Wasn't Sakuya's body found on the cart, and wasn't the cart found in the pool?

I thought jj checked the body and found that she was dead recently?
