*Roy appears in the inquisition room covered with blood from head to toes, shivering, clad in swimsuit and matching goggles. He takes a seat in the corner of the room after plopping his casual clothes next to him, and takes a deep breath of fresh air. Silence follows as he can vaguely make out the current unfolding of clues by other frantic students*
"Hey... guys, I found something. I couldn't get it out of the pool, though."
*Deciding not to talk any further, Roy uses his index finger that has not been dried with blood yet to draw an image on one of the inquisition room's walls. It takes a minute or so, but he manages to draw an image of a crude sledgehammer. He pauses before turning back on his prior thought and speaks up once more*
"I couldn't get the sledgehammer out of the water, because it's too heavy... even whilst carrying nothing."

Sorry, I deleted my previous post. I needed to revise something.

Sakuya couldn't have been stabbed in Lab 127 and have her lungs be filled with water after, so she must have drowned in the pool first.

I'm fairly certain that the culprit watched Sakuya die, or else the body announcement would've triggered afterwards. Probably to make certain that Sakuya did indeed die from her injuries.

"the killer didn't know what they were doing. According to the autopsy that Wine performed, the stab wounds missed all the vital areas. I assume that the victim was dosed with anesthetic and then stabbed several times in the lab before being dragged over to the pool and dumped there."

The sledgehammer that Future Dead wine had? that's the reason why me and JJ went to the pool. It would also nail down the boards.

Interesting find, Roy. This does raise the question, though. What was the sledgehammer even used for? There are no visible bruises on Sakuya, and I can't really clean the blood off of her with the pool water as it's too bloody, so I can't find any other signs of wounds.

Here's what I think happened...

The culprit stabbed Sakuya in Lab 127 and knocked her out. They threw her body on top of the cart and nailed some wooden boards on it to keep her in place on the cart so they could kill her in the pool.
The culprit moved the cart with the body attached to it into the pool and left the scene, leaving Sakuya to drown in the pool.

The weird thing about that Snake is that the anesthetic bottle from the present is missing, and the one in the future is completely brand new. This means it's completely full. I have a syringe full of anesthetic that somebody left behind there, the person who took the bottle no doubt. At first I considered the possibility of Sakuya being drugged with anesthetic due to the bloodshot eyes, but drowning ought to do the same thing. The weird thing is that her mouth was filled with blood even though she drowned when I got to check her corpse. Does that mean she just spewed all the water out after being fished out, or...?

Yes. The sledgehammer was already in the pool. Kasumi told us about it and then we went there to get it and use it to break open the Storage Room (present)
