One factor about this case that concerns me is the blood we found in the corner of Lab 127. Why couldn't the culprit have been wounded while they were drowning Sakuya in the pool? We found droplets of blood in Lab 127, but maybe those came from the killer when they left to go get the cart?

They stabbed Sakuya with their screwdriver in laboratory 127, as evidenced by the drops of blood found there where the cart originally was. With the cart, they wheeled Sakuya over to the pool, possibly to keep her from leaving a blood trail behind if they had dragged her, possibly because time was of the essence to our culprit, or possibly because they didn't want to get more blood on themselves. From here, they either waited for a period of time to let her bleed out, or they just dropped her off into the pool and let her drown. The former can potentially be ignored. This is where my theory begins to diverge from what everybody else is thinking, if you haven't noticed it already. He or she didn't nail down the boards on the cart yet. I agree with Kamui. The initial struggle was in Laboratory 127, Sakuya was stabbed, then placed on the cart and taken to the Pool, to prolong the time it would take for someone to find it, while the killer tied up any loose ends. This being in response to Tsurugi's post.

Sakuya didn't have any additional external injuries, so one explanation could be that she was drugged with anesthetic from the present. If the culprit didn't have the anesthetic, they could have had a special ability to circumvent Sakuya's struggle on the cart, or they had boarded her down onto it before they went to the pool.

"Hm...are you sure the screwdriver was picked up AFTER we all started investigating? Even so, the killer could have picked it up as well."

Jul 11, 2015 22:30:57 GMT -4 Kamui said: They stabbed Sakuya with their screwdriver in laboratory 127, as evidenced by the drops of blood found there where the cart originally was. After they confirmed Sakuya's death, they fished her out of the pool and laid her back down on the cart. With this, they then boarded up the cart and made her impossible to see without removing the boards. With this, they would have confused the ever loving hell out of us with the body announcement, as we only saw Ven and Kanji discover the body from the murder report instead of our 3rd person. No, that's wrong!Fires Verbal Bullet: Pool Water SplashesI found some large splashes of blood on the sides of the cart. The thing that I find strange about blood being on the sides of the cart is that if Sakuya got her blood onto the sides of the cart before being carried to the pool, it should have left a fairly recent blood trail. Although, I checked the gym for recent blood trails and found none. That's indicative of Sakuya struggling while being held underwater while she was propped up against the cart. In any case, if she were propped up on the cart, I don't see how the killer could have drowned her using only the cart. They had to use another key piece of evidence. Fires Verbal Bullet: Missing BoardsIf the culprit had nailed some of the boards onto Sakuya instead of all of them, they could have still seen her face and would have known she was dead. All they had to do after she was dead was nail the remaining board to cover her face and throw the body into the pool with the cart. Also, since blood spewed out of Sakuya, that's also indicative of her being propped onto the cart with the boards while she was still alive. So she was struggling to breathe while her chest was covered with boards and spurted out blood as a result when she was found later. Furthermore, since Sakuya drowned and didn't suffocate from the boards, it makes sense that not all of the boards had been nailed over her yet. If her whole body was nailed with boards while she was still alive, she would have suffocated before she even got to the pool.

"Yeah, I think this should be correct... Okay, after having thought of it for some time, I'm fairly sure of a certain point. Sakuya must have been under effect of anesthetic. First, there were no signs of struggle which is just obviously strange. Second, judging by the bloodshot eyes, she must have been awake. Now what does anesthetic do? It prevents signals from passing through the nerves rendering people unable to feel pain and limiting their movement. In big doses it is in fact able to making the person fall unconscious, but in small, it doesn't. And all of it's effects fit our current situation. Sakuya, awake enough to realize she is being killed, but not able to move enough to properly resist got killed and drowned alive. But then, how would we know she was injected by anesthetic? Answer: We wouldn't, because the culprit covered the hole through which they injected the drug with syringe with numerous stab. Culprit needed but one stab to be precise and made all other stabs randomly to cover up the fact. The fact that Sakuya was half-conscious under anesthesia must have also made her drown faster."
"Thus, all things considered, I am convinced that culprit is somebody who had access to anesthetics!"

Anyone could have the anesthetic.
As Kamui stated before, the present version of the anesthetic bottle is missing, meaning anyone could have taken it. Anyone could have had access to a syringe, seeing as the item was depleted in the future Nurse's Office, and probably in the Present. Additionally, we know that there are people than can spawn items as an ability.
Of course, while there is no solid proof that Kamui is innocent, the contrary seems unlikely.

Right, we've definitely got all the information we need by this point. All this repeating of "what if" is just not helping. We can do this, all I need for you guys to do is to break my theories apart and defend yourselves adequately. Sound good? It doesn't to me either, but it's the best I can do.
Starting with the murder report...
Victim: Sakuya Izayoi
Time of Death: The body was found by Venelop3 and Kanji at approximately 7:30pm EST.
Cause of Death: Unknown
Location: The body was found on top of a cart that had been pushed into the pool.
Known verbal bullets that have been shared...
Verbal Bullet – Bloody Screwdriver
...there is... a splatter of blood... where she was stabbed... the cart was used to transport her to the pool... but started leaking... blood along the way... the culprit used the old blood... in the halls as cover for the new trail...
Verbal Bullet – Blood Trail
...as rigor mortis... had only just set while we investigated... it was likely... one or two hours... before we found her...
Verbal Bullet: Pool Water Splashes
I found some large splashes of blood on the sides of the cart.
Verbal Bullet: Missing Boards
If the culprit had nailed some of the boards onto Sakuya instead of all of them, they could have still seen her face and would have known she was dead.
Those are the shared verbal bullets I know of. These are completely undeniable pieces of evidence.
Then there are people with confirmed alibis that I know of...
Raspberry, Raidou, Ven and Kanji. I also find that Nagato, Tsurugi, Wine, Kasumi and Rena are not really high on my list of suspects, if at all present. If anybody has a reason to suspect them, please speak up. I'd also add myself to that list, but I can't prove my innocence.
This leaves myself, Sakuya, Snake, Corvo, Roy and Slaine. Better list than nothing, right? I'm throwing Slaine off, because as far as I know, he's just been sitting in a corner over in the West Wing in the present and starving himself to death. Sakuya killing herself with those wounds is impossible as well. This leaves us with Snake, Corvo and Roy. And myself, if you feel like suspecting me. Roy supposedly was asleep for the entire time and had no clue where the body was, so that is also something to take into consideration. For the sake of this, I'll leave him in, but I feel that the other two are far more likely to have done it.
To correct my previous scenario with these new verbal bullets in mind, I'll start all over again.
Our culprit, whomever they may be encountered Sakuya in lab 127. They managed to catch her off guard and hit her with a syringe filled with anesthetic. Even if there's no indication of a puncture wound, there are a number of stab wounds with the screwdriver. Whilst doing this, some These must have been used to hide the puncture wound, as you guys previously noted. They then put Sakuya on the cart and nailed some of the boards onto the cart. Not all of them, mind you, but enough of them to keep her from moving whilst the anesthetic was still at its strongest. Otherwise, there would be no reason to nail those boards on the cart. They were there to keep her from moving after the anesthetic wore off.
By this point, the culprit wheeled her over to the pool on the cart and pushed downward so she would drown. This is evidenced by the pool water splashes as well as the missing boards. The culprit had an easier time drowning Sakuya because she was still somewhat weakened by the anesthetic, but she struggled to survive. The culprit was prepared, however. This is why they nailed some of the boards down, so she couldn't break free in time. This is why it seemed like Sakuya did not fight back throughout the entire duration of the murder, the anesthetic completely numbed her senses and then she was immobile due to being nailed in place.
After confirming that Sakuya had perished, they finished nailing up the rest of the boards and then proceeded to clean up. They most likely went straight to the showers over at the staff dormitory on the 2nd floor and took a shower to get rid of the stench of chlorine that would have undoubtedly lingered on their person had they not done so. There's also the issue that blood may have gotten on their clothes, so they probably had to wash that off as well, or at least make it impossible to notice. I figured this is why the shampoo bottle had been partially used, but as Roy just notified me, he filled a syringe with it for... some unknown reason. That's one way to confuse the hell out of folks, Roy. Still, I have no idea if that's the amount of shampoo in the syringe, so the possibility remains that some was used to mask the killer's stench.
Regardless, the killer had managed to get rid of any indicators that they had been at the pool. With this, all they had to do was clean up any other bits and pieces that they may have left behind, and then they could rest assured that we wouldn't find them. There is also the possibility that Wine noted, the one where the murder announcements only mention the last person or group to find the body. This means that it's entirely possible that the culprit had an accomplice, or that somebody else discovered the corpse and meddled with the crime scene before Ven and Kanji stumbled upon it. I don't know how important it is to stress this possibility, but we're running out of time and I can't find overwhelming evidence of another person's involvement, nor do I have to the time to factor in powers that could have been used here. We still probably won't find the culprit or culprits, but regardless, that won't stop me from trying. It might be misguided and I apologise if it is, but I accuse you three in particular, Snake, Corvo or Roy!
Please, defend yourselves so I don't have to suspect you anymore. Otherwise, I have no choice but to just go with what my poor intuition is telling me to do. That would be to suspect either Snake or Corvo in particular. I know that one of you supposedly discovered the motive, otherwise there would be no reason for this.

*Roy crawls to the center of the room barely awake. He stretches his arms in both directions before releasing a yawn* "I guess... this is where I put an alibi or some sort of 'miracle' statement... right? Ah~ that's right... you mentioned something about a murder motive, Kamui? A murder motive, huh? I'm not really sure what you are talking about, but I didn't really have time to check in the 'previous' school much, since I woke up late from the assembly... Now of all times, am I finally regretting taking a nap." *Roy lets out another yawn as he attempts to speak* "Where was I during the murder? Well, I don't know when the murder happened, but I was upstairs... in the classroom with that note... you know, the one that says, 'call my name.' I remember... not much, but I was really sleepy. There was this girl, with... orange hair was it? Yes, it was orange; anyways, she tried to stalk me, and poked me while doing so... and then I sort of fell asleep there. Now, Kamui also mentioned about my confusion with the body... I guess I should explain that. All I knew was that the body was at the pool, but I didn't know which 'pool' was referred to. I went straight to the pool of the 'previous' school until that... Umm... Cat Girl-" *Warily acknowledge Venenlop3 with a wave of a finger* "-told me the crime scene... was in the future? Maybe, you guys drank too much coffee today, but this is more like... another dimension... where we died..." *Looks dejectedly at the ground with the last note*

"No Roy! With that kind of lookout you will never get friends! Look at Sakuya here. She never had any friends with any of us. Now look at her again! Dead! DEAD! And she never even shared a story with me so we don't even know who she was or where she came from. She died in this isolated paradox with none existing here knowing anything about her or none on the outside world knowing her Fate! We have talked before that friends are people who have mutual gains from each other and I also said that those gains might be more than just physical. And precisely! Look at Kanji and Ven who became buddies over these short 4 days. They are both alive and kicking and they even have alibis! Of course, I'm not telling you to force yourself to make friends, but I am just saying to you that making friends will help you. And since nobody does it, once again..." *Wine extends the hand of friendship to Roy* "Become my friend and live to see the brightness of the outside world when we get out of this paradox in new light as a no longer non-social shut-in!"
