Ayame listens to the Viscount, then the little talkative one, and then the final points, while examining the broken police phone. She then turns to the others and says:
"Before that, I would like to ask you, Light, why you don't feel like pointing out that YOU live in Apartment 3-1!" With a dramatic flourish, she points at Light, accidentally sending the phone tumbling towards his face as well. "OOPS!"

『I live in the apartment 3-1. In fact, yesterday, I even visited the Pool once in the morning... Once in my changing room I even confirmed that there were no security cameras or anything, so I don't think there would be anything disallowing anyone to enter changing rooms of the opposite gender or catch one if they do... Anyhow, needless to mention, when I was in the pool there were no drowned policemen, dirt or drag marks there, it was just empty and peaceful. After leaving the Pool I went to take a stroll in the city stopping to gaze at the fountain in the City Square for a bit... It was then that some policeman approached me and said "Go home" while taking out a police baton so I kicked him into the fountain... Checked if he had anything worth my time and then left off noticing Adell distracting other policemen on the way... Afterwards I went to bookstore and lots of stuff happened making me unable to return to my apartment at all until 12am... I never noticed any drag marks or anything in the dark on my way to my room...』

well it looks to me like the Viscount who is confirmed to be a news reporter seems to be trying to get rid of me cause of those slanderous comments on the news and how he is trying to get rid of his competition as the city adviser and putting the city against me by probably doing these acts he accuses me of. I wasn't here for investigation at all so all I have is what was said in the proceedings of this open debate. It just seems to me like the Viscount wanted to frame me and plays off not knowing 100% where I live so that it probably look less likely that he drew the water trail to my door dried off then headed to his own apartment. I would like to let everyone know I have no control over the news reports as I work at city hall not as a mud slinging reporter.

Remember that I am overtired, as I did not sleep last night long into the investigaton.
Your face looked familiar, but you are not the one I wished to point fingers at.
It was Light Yagami, this boy here, who I believe is the culprit due to the untruthful and lack of hope in the report he gave.
I was actually interviewed by him one day for the news.
