"Um...just because the water trail went through the male changing rooms does not mean it was a guy. They didn't pick up anything from that room, after all."

Sova ran off while I was speaking with the cops. I did see her holding up a badge and a baton before dropping them into the fountain. At that point the police came up to me and I looked away and she was gone. I checked the fountain and those items were missing just before the trial and all the corpses floating in the pool possessed those items. So I believe that situation and the 4 victims are unrelated.

I haven't exactly looked in on the doors to changing area, but someone who committed murder wouldn't really be paying attention to the side they were dragging corpses through or leaving through. Unless there is some complex GENDER IDENTIFYING DEVICE that I do not understand at work I can't see that fact holding much water.
On another note someone who isn't paying attention may have gone through the male side since that was the norm if they were familiar with that route, say they lived in that apartment complex.

"I, um, I made a point to check that." She places the drink beside Light and goes back to her seat, ready to hand out more drinks.

Mystio looks around. She begins to think about how she can help clear up the situation, not knowing much, she decided not to sit around and let despair win the battle. In her hope, she explains her thought process once again for others to hear.
"Exactly! If they are familiar with that route, it's quite likable they lived there. And with the droplets in apartment 3-2 leading to no real door whatsoever, and absolutely no doors showing any signs of dampness after THOROUGH investigation, it's very likely said person lives in 3-1 and framed 3-2.
Which means, since the murder happened at 3-2, the person is someone who is trying to frame themselves for murder (their apartment), and lead us to believe the murderer actually lives at apartment 3-2 when they actually live at 3-1!"

"Yeah, yeah... Alright, let's get this over with...
Hey! Old geezer--I mean, Judge! Can people randomly go through opposite Changing Rooms or no? Is there actually anything to keep people out too?
Anyway, if you're gonna ask that question, how'd we get drag trails into the building in the first place?
Wouldn't someone inside see the killer dragging a bunch of dead bodies around? Wouldn't there be a panic at least?"

「Assuming your train of thought is correct, how will we know who lives in those apartments? We're just normal people, after all.」

The police keep detailed records on every citizen here in Avrak. I'm certain that they would know which rooms certain people reside in.

"Oh right, on that note, there's a list of residents in the 3-1 Apartment. Too bad I didn't recognize any name there..."
*Sighs*

That'd mean that the trails still lead to that apartment. There would be signs of them cleaning themselves off as well, I believe.
