The book is titled "Truth of the Infection". It reads:

Since you recognized them, they should have also been citizens according to your theory. How do you explain their deaths, mister hero of justice?!

Verbal Bullet #4 Despair Group

That is a simple explanation Aklita. The Despair group that is mentioned several times in documents we have uncovered. The proof that the Despair group was there is written on the note in Residence 2.
It even addresses you, the message "Despair is everywhere. You cannot run from despair. You cannot hide from despair. Even your immortality will eventually fall... to despair."

The part about immortality can only refer to you Aklita. There was also the Note from Emna stating, "To any remaining survivors, Aklita has cleared the way through this accursed village. As a loyal citizen of Avrak, please make haste over the suspension bridge and cross to the tower at once. - Emna"

You cleared the way through the village, by crushing the faction of the Despair group that had massacred the villagers!

Of course based on other documents we have some information that some of the soldiers themselves had be afflicted by our "infection" and had turned against the remaining loyal citizens of Avrak. It would also explain why Emna called it the accursed village, because it was full of Avraks gone mad with the "infection."

There's no possible way you would eat the same food as us players. You're 'better' than us after all. So you found yourself some ice cream! The sweets dairy products of the gods themselves!
