Upon entering the 3rd floor, you find that all of the people you saw earlier are gone and instead, a person in a uniform stands on an elevated platform at the far end of the room. You catch a glimpse of the uniform's name tag: "Aklita: SHSL Immortal".
A circle of trial stands has been put into place in the center of the room with screens displaying smiling faces of Alter Ego lining the walls.
(This is where you discuss and solve the final mystery)

Welcome, everyone. I'm Aklita Temris, and I will be judging your performance during this mystery trial. Depending on how accurately you manage to solve this mystery, you will either be spared or massacred. I wish you all good luck. -Aklita rolls her eyes- You're going to need it...

Greetings to you..ahh.. Aklita. Based on what I saw I would imagine you already know my name, but I feel it important to say it when I greet people as that is my way. I am Bang Shishigami, the Hero of Justice!

-Aklita sighs- If you're not going to try and solve this mystery, I see no reason why I should remain here. How about all of you start from the beginning and work your way out from there.

I imagine the mystery we must solve is the mystery of what we have been doing for the past several days and its purpose, along with the events that led to this. I guess we should begin by stating what all we have done over these days.
Our story began with all of us awakening in the amphitheater of the underground area. At first we all cooperated and worked together to figure out why exactly we were there. We explored the theater, dungeon, and abandoned tunnel. We opened more areas by clearing rubble, solving riddles, and using explosive. We continued to explore the new areas in the underground and continued clearing out rubble. It was here that, as far as we could remember, we first set eyes upon the glowing mushrooms. Marked with a red X as well and the passage to them was also marked. After clearing out the remainder of the rubble we attempted to solve the riddle of the entrance hall to escape the underground. We solved it and continued to the above ground and the calming meadow.
Here we were faced with another riddle to continue and we met the first tragedy of our journey. Rin killed Junko, was found guilty, and later "executed." We searched the forest and began to run into signs of The Immortal and the people in green. After a time we answered the riddle of the village and entered it even as it was burning. Here we found more bodies and bloody messages. Our progress was then waylaid by Aklita at the bridge, where not even my Ninja skills could cross without getting shot. We believed that across the bridge was the way to go due to the note left in the bathhouse, signed by one Emna. As we investigated the village we discovered a hidden path to the Observatory where we achieved our first close up glimpse of Aklita and the Tower and found our first questions about the mysterious "infection." We struggled with the truth of whether it was right of us to cross the bridge, considering the possibility of being "infected." Our choice was made for us though, as the next day we found Aklita gone and the body of Rin, who had survived the execution on the other end of the ravine.
We explored that side of the ravine after some issues involving bridge destruction. It was here that our company met with a massacre. We lost 4 more people in a short span of time and then entered the tower.
The question we must answer... is why. Why were we told to kill each other and be the last one standing. Why we were locked up underground with Alter Ego left to watch us. Why this series of tragedies had to occur.
This is the Final Trial, and Justice will be done.

Why..? Well I think that's pretty clear. This is just some sort of a test, a project for them. They're using use as tools to research something.

Let us identify the reason for our imprisonment first and examine what was underground with us. It is obvious that we were intended to escape from that place, the path to the entrance all was blocked with two tunnels of rubble, and we conveniently had two sticks of dynamite. We did manage to save one through the strength of our teamwork though. The skeletons down there are the greatest question. The skeletons are all in positions as to imply they died in extreme agony and that it was slow. There were many skeletons attempting to reach food as well, such as at the dungeon entrance and the storage room. Which is strange considering we found enough food for all of us for quite a while down there. Let us begin with that. How did those people in the underground perish?

An interesting theory Phi, but do you have any evidence to back up that WE are a part of a experiment? I believe an experiment was involved in events, but I have found little reason to believe that the experiment I found and our predicament are one and the same

I thought you would have looked at the computers and read about the Blood Mushroom Experiment.

Perhaps what the computer screen inside the frozen room shows might mean that this is a test/experiment "Test 51 - ongoing". This also shows that this wasn't the first, and perhaps not even the last of multiple tests.

Oh? You noticed that file? Well, I'm kept in the dark about most of these things, so I can't say for certain, but perhaps it's connected to how those people in the underground died?

I will answer my own question then. I believe the people underground perished of the mysterious "infection" we learned of in the observatory. It is unlikely they were killed fighting as they are reaching for food and poison most likely did not kill them, as they are even in death reaching for more to eat. The only thing that remains that is plausible is the infection.

Issei is correct. That screen most likely refers to us. After all, those tests appear to have been scored on a pass or fail format. Aklita here has already told us that we must succeed here or die, or in simpler terms, Pass or Fail.
