First Prince Benjamin: "Alright as fun as this is, I don't appreciate one of my men being implicated. So far all I see are flimsy claims. The blood trail clearly shows the murderer went in the direction of the 3rd-5th princes' chambers. Shouldn't we look at them and their servants first? This Otoshin fellow certainly seems quite invested in bringing down my man 01.

"Ehhh, you want me to spell it out? You're the detective here, right? Its your job figuring that out~ I don't wanna be a snitch."

"Let me get this straight. You were plotting something clandestine with your fellow guard who is a prime suspect on their own?"

"I mean, everyone here is a suspect, you included. And all of us considered plotting or plotted something clandestine at one point I would I assume. Think about it for a second, its not strange at to even swing these trials off course just to get someone you dislike or wary of dead. This trial isn't to find truth, its to find a viable excuse to get whoever isn't you out of the succession game."

"As far as my conversations with Hu Tao went, at least part of the discussion was about declaring a chosen follower. I'm unsure how far that gets us in the trial or in finding a suspect, though,"

"It just irks me, is all. Especially the deflection, there."

Hu Tao puts the slab of meat away before it start to smell, "I went around talking to the princes during investigation. Prince Carmilla denies that anyone had entered her room other than her guards. She was in the living room, so anyone who went further would have been noticed."

"Prince Benjamin was in the gym and says he didn't hear anyone enter aside from his guards either. There does not seem to be anything out of place in the rest of his area, so I believe the blood trail is not an attempt to throw us off the trail of one of his guards."

"Prince Zhang Lei had been in his study, and does not believe anyone aside from his guards had entered the room."

"Prince Tserriednich says that while the lights were off, he heard a commotion outside and the unassuming guard (Otoshin) ran into the room after."

"Prince Tubeppa had been talking with Ruka and I while the lights were off and had our discussion cut short by the body discovery announcement."

"While it was dark, I had been exploring the library. I left to find the unassuming guard in panic and running to his prince. The schoolgirl (Kaede) was standing around around the guest commons as well. Deciding that it was a good idea to make sure Prince Tubeppa was alright, I headed for the prince hallway. Otoshin arrived prior to myself, and may have been in conversation with Ruka. Leaving them to their talk, I head into the room to check up on my prince."

"As I had passed the hallway in the dark, I attempted to search for blood on my shoes in case I stepped into the trail and failed to find any. I also can't recall any blood trail through my flashlight."

"As for the request for Alibis, I remained in the Ballroom for quite some time after the concert came to a close. I spoke with Ruka briefly, but did not interact with anyone else. I only left after the Body Discovery Announcement! Unfortunately, I possessed no light source, so I cannot confirm if anyone was there with me for the entire duration. So, unfortunately, Nothing to Report!"

"Wait, Otoshin entered after a commotion in the dark? This could explain his, uh, breakdown. Wracked with guilt, maybe, or terrified of impending judgement."

"For my own alibi, I was in the ballroom as well the entire time, the same as the Gatekeeper! However, due to the lights going out, I can't confirm anything either. I don't think I heard any footsteps going in or out of the ballroom though, so I don't believe the Gatekeeper ever left. I saw him both before and after the lights went out in the ballroom."
