Clouds of steam blow from the lake as large bubbles boil up and splash blood around. Singing ripples across the surface of the lake, pushing the ruby liquid into pools. They continue spilling with waterfalls into smaller and smaller bowls, cooling down as it gets near the bottom. Red silt is deposited on the stone around, filtering the water to a relatively clear trickle which flows into the swamp. Some animals bathe in the pools, wandering about until they find a temperature to their liking. Blood lilies float on the lake and create platforms which could probably hold a person or two.
