Here you see a large shrine built into the mountainside with a paved road leading up through it. Several Japanese-style arches stand along the road, as if the people here had been expecting you. Inside, the shrine is strangely vacant. There are a few tables and some pillows scattered around, but nobody seems to be inside. A billboard is nailed to the back wall. A note written in large golden letters is pinned to the board. It reads, "Whom do you save by slaying?" There is a hot springs nearby with a large hole in the ground that seems to be spewing hot air.  Well, that doesn't matter now. Anyone who trespasses on my shrine will be annihilated! ....is what I would say, but there are rules against killing humans here. I'd suggest you leave before the actual goddess shows up. I know she'd be angry if anyone tampered with the shrine... |
