A highly acclaimed restaurant begets a refined selection of ingredients and an orderly kitchen. The kitchen’s theme, contrastingly to the dining area of the Chest Restaurant, is stagnant. Since the construction of the Arabi Grand Hotel’s fourth floor, this kitchen has been covered in pale tiles from the concrete base to the ceiling supported by beams. As the head chef of Ches often elaborates on the significance of the ingredients, the pantry is nearly the size of the kitchen, itself. A third of the pantry holds machinery, such as blenders, mixers, etc.; the rest of the pantry has been categorized to represent the hierarchy of the food pyramid. At around ankle level, vegetables and fruits have been vacuum sealed in their own individual containers and packaging. A cooling unit also runs beneath the bottom shelf in order to refrigerate the produce. At the top of the pantry, it is difficult to make out the shelf contents, but following the pattern of the food pyramid, the top compartment seems to be reserved for oils and spreads.
