"Ow!" Rikka uttered as she was knocked in the head by Yuuta



"Why did you stop me Dark Flame Master? Sophia is trying to corrupt your mind and take you away from me so she could have your power..."

"Why would I need to steal his power when it is simply a branch of my own?"

[Karenina]

"H-how many times do I have to tell you that I am not any Dark Flame Ma-"

Yuuta then glances around and notes that there are people who he doesn´t know and might be staring.


"I-I m-mean Dark Flame Master? I have absolutely no idea what you two are talking about..! Never heard about some like that! Ever!"

"Th..the last mage.. wha wha.. do you mean last mage... AND WHY ARE YOU ALL HERE!"

"I mean out of everyone, I really didn't expect Yuuta to be here, but then again I don't fully understand why I'm here myself."

Suddenly a loud sound brings everyone's gaze back to corner of the room that they were purposefully ignoring all this time. Where there were only pair of grey animal ears now stands a strange grey figure. Is it an alien? Is it a person in mascot costume? Is it UMA? You can't quite tell, but that figure is standing there with its hands covering its face in shame.

"Noooooooooooooooooooooooo! This is the end! There is no other choice but for Mishy to end his life! To protect the hopes and dreams of all the children out there!"

-Itriot nods his head towards Caster in acknowledgement and heads over to the door again. Another flick of his wrist and he exits. A few minutes later he returns with a bottle of vodka and a small stack of shot glasses. He pours out one for Caster before setting the rest atop a table near the fireplace. Silver Mask responds to Satone during this process.-

Silver Mask: "Under normal circumstances all Starless Lords have the exact same rank with none having authority over the others. In the event that responsibilities be managed between lords for an event, like this one, an Overlord is selected."

-Silver Mask points at the door-

Silver Mask: "That would be who is leading you all here. Itriot and I were assigned to provide assistance during this event. Normally only one lord is assigned to serve in these situations, but....our circumstances are a bit unique as well."

Ryo watched the freak show of a fight about to happen between the teenagers in the room. Such childish behavior. There's no way they were capable of being demons. Much less being able to serve underneath him. How disappointing. He gave a disappointed head shake in their direction. He then turned to Itriot.

"I have two more questions. When will we get to meet this Overlord? Also, why did you invite such...children to become Starless Lords?"

Ryo pointed at the children fighting who claimed to be magical demons.

"Surely there would be an age limit or something to become such a prestige member of society and serve the King?"

Itriot: "The Overlord is finishing collecting candidates to become lords. When she deems enough people are present, then she will come in and perform her full introduction. Regarding the choice of candidates... that is up to the Overlord's discretion. They were selected by the Starless King to serve in honor as an Overlord so we trust in their wisdom. In addition, the trial is so difficult that any who manage to pass it, regardless of age, are considered worthy."

The bag of chips in Nanashi's hands is found in mid-flight as the boy is startled by the desperate sounds of a figure with distinct cat-like ears.
Nanashi's former shut-in lifestyle becomes evident as he stumbles out of his seat to the wailing creature.  His own breathing has become shallow, despite only travelling a few meters.
Nanashi inhales in between coughs as he regains his composure.  "I-Isn't that going a bit too far!?"
"If you k-kill yourself, then surely, there will be people who will be sad!  I'll definitely have my hopes and dreams destroyed if you kill yourself!  
I'm not sure what happened, b-but we can fix it together—for the sake of the children!"

The former shut-in pauses as his mouth is unable to form another sentence to comfort the grey creature.

Mishy, whose heart was already 3 quarters broken by fact that only two to seemingly notice him among this number of people are just one girl, whose emotionless stare stung into the injured heart like a needle, and one boy, whose innocent words further burned into the said aching heart like a branding iron, found himself in deep despair. Yet nonetheless, Mishy couldn't find it in himself to ignore boy's words that were pointed at him, even as his head wanted to end his poor existence this instance.

"You don't get it kind boy... Its all over... Mishy has done something irreversible and unforgivable! Mishy has... Mishy was... WAS CAUGHT DOING MISCHIEF!!! *insert random weep in sorrow and pit of despair* AS A SYMBOL OF PEACE, LOVE AND HAPPINESS, MISHY CANNOT ALLOW THE KIDS FROM ALL OVER TO LEARN ABOUT THIS! THERE IS NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO DISAPPEAR! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Having finished saying that, with a loud cry, Mishy starts running straight at the fireplace.

Satone steps back and accidentally bumps into a small creature running by. "Oh, a familiar? Is this yours Tyrant's Eye?"

Ryo looked at the cat in absolute disgust.

"And who decided to invite the perverted cat? There's only one thing he could have meant by MAKING MISCHIEF behind the sofa. Pervert. Besides. A cat hardly seem fit to serve as a Starless Lord."

Ryo paused before starting again.

"Though, if he runs into the fireplace, we could at least eat him!"

Itriot: "I would be careful making such statements! There is in fact a Starless Lord who is an insect! Don't ask me how it happened, tis a mystery none know of!"

-Itriot scratches his chin in thought-

Itriot: "I really have no idea how he manages to accomplish his duties, but he does!"

Strange remarks of Ryo don't reach ears of Mishy who is running while crying out loudly, but then Satone bumping into Mishy makes him stumble, and change trajectory to bump headfirst into the fireplace's side making a really loud thud. Mishy then proceeds to roll around the floor holding his head.

"Ouch! Ow ow ow ow ow >_<"
