Pre-Game

-A dull pounding in your skull is what greets you as you wake. As you open your eyes and find yourself lying on cold, hard ground.-

-You look up to find yourself in a large auditorium style room, circular in shape. Scattered across the floor are 8 others, each starting to shake and stir as well.-

-As you pull yourself upwards you notice in the center of the room a ring of wooden stands, like witness stands with someone sitting atop one, laughing, and looking around at you all.-



"Haha! It's finally happening! I could hardly wait this long. Hurry and wake up everyone! If anyone needs some painkillers I'll gladly provide them, and apologize for the force used to bring you here!"

"Now I am sure everyone is confused as to why you all were invited here, but don't worry! I'll explain once my assistants finish setting up the rest of our Gameboard!"

"I'm sure many of you are also curious why are also in possession of some rather large diamonds! I can answer that as well! Its your payment for your joining the game! As to why its following you around the room... Well we can talk about that personally. Its a bit complicated! Ah! Of course, Introductions!"



"I... Am Finire! I'll be hosting this game and serving as referee, judge, and executioner! But not Jury. That'll you guys. On that note! I recommend you all get up and introduce yourselves. Best to know the competition before proceeding!"

"Maybe....some music would help!"

-Finire hits a button on some kind of remote in his pocket and music starts playing through out the room.-


(This is the Blood Shift Pre-Game! Feel free to RP and introduce your characters here! You can also do some initial questioning of Finire and try to get a heads up on the process! You all have your Stein weapons at this point, but for those who have not decided you can talk to me and we will retcon it in! If you are unsure about your weapon PM me and I'll tell you, otherwise you'll get the official PM with your weapon tomorrow.)

[Indrid Cold]

"Huh, painkillers sound pretty alright right about now. Cold floors don't do wonders for my back anymore. As a side note to you all, I am the infamous Indrid Cold, master illusionist and all around fun guy! A pleasure to make your acquaintances."

[Daiwa Scarlet]

*is busy being distracted by stars*

"Sure! Here catch!"

-Finire rifles through his pocket before pulling out a small blue pill and tossing it towards Indrid-

[Indrid Cold]

*Indrid catches the small pill and pops it into his mouth, only for it to reappear in his other hand. He laughs at his own illusion before actually taking the pain killer*

Mari points at Finire



"Hey you there! Who the hell do you think are to bring me all the way here with all these losers? And what is this 'game' your talking about?"

"Now, Now, no need to get angry. Like I said, I'm Finire."

"I don't want to ruin the surprise, but you all will be competing with one another in a game! I won't necessarily say WINNER TAKES ALL, but there may very well be prizes. Besides, what better excuse to play a game than to have fun, right? You don't need a better reason than that do you?"

[Naru]

"Uh-Uhm where am I? H-how did it happen" Marrion said quietly.

[Satori]

"Well then Finny boy! You sure have a lot of guts to drag me all the way here so fine! Ill join this little 'game' of yours. I can beat all these losers no problem!"

[Exusiai]

*Clutching the side of his head with one hand, Hiro casually chuckles*

"My head feels sort of numb, but painkillers are painkillers.
It's better to accept them rather than regret later, especially if they're free.
A gallon of painkillers should be good enough!"

*Hiro's other hand, dangling at his side, taps at an off-beat rhythm. His chuckle fades out and is replaced by an even wider grin as he cranes his neck towards the other people present*

"Hello! I'm Watanabe Hiro, first-year student. You would write Hiro with the same character for 'prosperous."

[Daiwa Scarlet]

*randomly pops up behind Finire and stares intently*

Warm scarf

-Finire rifles through his pocket again and tosses a couple blue pills at Hiro-

"I don't quite have a gallon in my pocket, but this should cover you for now."

-Finire turns his head over his shoulder and nods-

"Yes, it is a warm scarf."

[Daiwa Scarlet]

*Fae swipes at the tails of the scarf*

[Indrid Cold]

*Indrid decides to entertain himself by practicing making his hands disappear. He enjoyed using this trick to impress new friends after successful acts, and he hoped he would be able to do the same here.*

"Ah, young lady with the scarf, do you happen to know any tricks that you might like me to perform? I enjoy trying new things, and prep should be pretty easy given that we have some free time."

[Daiwa Scarlet]

*Her smile fades as Fae watches the man's disappearing hands*
