Specifically, I am only removing the chains, as anyone who was paying attention in the room would know.

"Well, I have determined that the blood was thrown on him, but the floor has no sign of that beyond the blood dripping onto the floor. So it must have happened elsewhere. Also, there is a bruise on his head, so someone must have knocked him out first especially since it didn't appear to be a killing blow. Also, his neck has two small holes on it. Seems like someone tried to fake a vampire attack but did a poor job of it. There is also a crumpled piece of paper with a list of names. It is all of our names plus others I don't recognize. Only names not on it are Stein, Garcia, and Wilheim. And Petel's has been crossed out."

How does two holes relate to a vampire attack? You guys are being ridiculous, what made you come to that conclusion?

"Because I compared it to the dead body in the corner of the crime scene which seems more like an actual vampire attack. Complete with teeth marks. And that body is also drained of blood. Also I found this piece of paper saying if you use this magical symbol it will turn day into night and if you have enough 'soul power' you can make it permanent."

So, let's back away from the freaking murder for a second. Are we just going to let it slide that there are VAMPIRE ATTACKS in the mansion? And why someone would just mimic that? What kind of god **** experiments are going on here that there are BODIES drained of blood by VAMPIRE ATTACKS

Also, who's handwriting is the list of names..?

Now, we could say vampire .... or there's a syringe nearby with fresh blood residue. How about said syringe was used to drain blood? As is its purpose? From this, I am suggesting that the syringe is the murder weapon."

That's a good theory, I wasn't stating it was a vampire. If what you say is true, it was obviously not a vampire attack. However, I'm merely trying to figure out our situation here, you said something about using human souls to create a night?

What research exactly is going on here? Could you revise those documents a bit more, perhaps we could figure out what experiments are even ACTUALLY taking place here.
Why is that important? Well, that makes the man who brought us here, Stein, an extremely dangerous man, no? I can't trust him for all this..

Then Steins papers were dropped at the scene? I have absolutely no idea why he'd fake a vampire attack, but perhaps this is all tied to why he brought us here in the first place. The hit list was probably from him himself... Yeah, not like I care, but this one's pretty obvious so far to me.
