"I can confirm Kanade's alibi that we did have a meeting at the study then spent most of the night at the Boiler Room. Ellie, Kanade and Jonathan can confirm this as well. |

Alright, I'm bored, let's wrap this up. The murderer is Stein, like I've been saying, who framed himself.
Stein is a vampire, the notes he has about his experiments and magic to suck souls and create a nighttime is his research notes that he's outright denying. Rather then suck blood, Stein sucks souls to use the magic.
Anyway, so Stein probably brought us all here as part of an experiment, one that has to do with out souls. What that is, I don't fully know, but it's clear he had a "hit list" of all of us for his own sake.
Anyway, the victim here was scratched off the list for breaking a rule, probably was a target for attacking Garcia and disrupting the place. Thus he was picked as the first target, and was murdered. Stein intentionally left his notes at the crime scene and mimic'd the vampire attack, either mimic'd or he actually attempted to suck the soul and failed, then covered the wound with the syringe to cover up that an actual vampire attacked.
To further cover this up, Stein then smacked the body several times with a whip.
To cover himself up and stir us up, for reasons of the experiment, Stein then set up this trial to make us all doubt and betray each other, doubting it was him due to the obvious frame. His soul sucking was a failure, and he gets away scott free.

Everyone gathers in the entrance hallway, confronting Stein. Hidematsu holds up a silver needle, grinning at him. Stein backs up against the wall, looking at everyone who faces him with doubt in their eyes.
Hidematsu closes in with Stein backing away. Then she pokes him lightly with the silver needle.
"I'm sorry... Kenlani..."
Stein utters a final breath as he abruptly bursts into silver light. Then the light explodes, sending silver shards flying everywhere. The silver shards slowly dissipated into nothingness, leaving only a tattered labcoat on the floor. |
