*comes to it* 『Areeeee? Looks like I got to another interesting place while I was busy indulging in delusions of beautiful magical girl harem life I just set foot in. Where is this again and whats going on? Oh, a trial. I see, I see. So you are all playing detectives now, huh. Then let me join in too!』
*does the gesture of putting on detective hat and lighting up a pipe before suddenly spinning around the room and stopping and randomly pointing finger at Kyubei* 『YOU ARE THE CULPRIT!』
『Mmmmmh, I always wanted to say that at least once!』

"Alucard, how would you know that unless you were watching her do it? Because I got to the room before you and it was already a mess by the time I got there."

"Unless both victims were killed by their only visible wounds, I don't see as to how else they were killed."
*Pausing as if grasping at thoughts, Sakurai's attention wandered away from the trial at hand before turning back to speak*
"Going over the simple facts, both bodies were facing away from the entrance of the guard house yet Kyubey was stabbed in the stomach. On the other hand, Madoka was stabbed through both sides of her head, although I didn't notice that any of the wounds were angled in any way.
I should mention the contracts also. The girl withe spear did inform me on how they worked, although it still doesn't explain the difference between the two contracts found at the scene... I'm not sure about the correlation of these contracts to the deaths, though.
There is one point I would like to intrude about. While I was in the police station, I did notice Alucard, who at the time, was carrying a sword. I'm not sure if it was the same one found at the guard house as others have been saying, but it's clear that he has abandoned that sword for a shovel. From what I recall, the sword he carried is also likely to have caused the injuries to Madoka. This brings up the concern of why someone would leave his or her sword behind in the first place, and for a shovel no less.
... Did you expect me to have more to say?"

Alucard scratches his head
"I was told that to be the case kyoko. Homura herself should be able to testify when she remembers how to speak."
"Regarding my sword, that is correct. I had a sword. Wendy saw me with it as well. I had no room left with my hammer and my gun and figured a gun would be enough protection. So, i left the sword in the guard house and picked up a shovel. Thought about digging up a few graves outside town. I'm also able to confirm that the sword i left is the same one you saw at the crime scene and that it has not moved an inch from where i placed it."

"Homura, you sure wanted to kill Kyubey didn't you? Because he killed Madoka. So then you killed him right? Stuck the screwdriver right in his stomach? Isn't that right Homura?"

*hears Kyoko's accusation* 『Fufufu... Exactly! I was there present this whole time and so I can confirm that that cat/fox/rabbit/mascot killed poor girl what was her name again and then Homura sis finished off the mascot in revenge! Yes, you can completely trust my words, why wouldn't you?!』

"Because, after everyone left Madoka in the guard house, only two people went back in. Kyubey. And then Homura. It was after that when Ikeda and myself went in."

*Upon hearing the accusation made against her by Kyouko, Homura looked towards her with cold look on her face then decided to speak up...* "So your accusing me for murdering Kyubey out of revenge for him killing Madoka? And I thought you had my back Kyouko-san... Although I will not deny that I WOULD HAVE killed Kyubey if I saw him alive. However. Let me just say that when I found Madoka and Kyubey in the guard house, they we're both already dead so I couldn't have killed Kyubey even if I wanted to since he was already dead and he probably killed himself knowing he'd pop up in a new body but I know for a fact that Kyubey definitely killed Madoka..." *Her expression then turns blank...* "Well it doesn't really matter whether I killed Kyubey or not. You guys should just name me the culprit and execute me right now... It was my fault anyway for letting this happen when I could prevented it from happening in the first place and I failed to protect Madoka who was my only reason to exist... So yeah. Just execute me now and get it over with. I don't have anymore reason to live and I cannot forgive myself for letting Madoka die..."

*turns to Homura* 『Yare yare, while I do think your feelings for that Madoka girl are splendid and all, if you die just like that, what do you think will happen to my newly obtained magical girl harem? Please think about trouble you cause to others before you do something stupid like that.』
*turns to others* 『And there you have it, I was pretty sure I saw things happen just like that, but it seems that was just another of my delusions. So you can go ahead and think that theory is proven wrong. So that means the culprit could only be that mascot there, right?』

"If that's the case, then explain the fact that Madoka has a forged contract on her. It is obviously nothing like Kyubey's since it is in sloppier handwriting and is missing the fine print. Madoka signed it partly before the signature ended."

Oh dear, there is so much noise in this discussion now. Let us break this noise down, point by point, to try and make some sense out of it all, shall we?
I'll start at the point I left off at. The signs of a struggle. From what I can gather about the crime scene, it would only make sense that I was the one to put up a struggle. Why, you ask? There is a distinct lack of discussion revolving around stab marks, or any sort of sharp object marks on the room itself. This would indicate that Madoka, who was killed by something large and sharp, had not been chased around by someone, who would have very likely attempted to attack her multiple times if she tried to defend herself. The weapon could be the sword that Alucard had hidden, or perhaps it is something else entirely that nobody has found. Regardless, this doesn't change my second point.
The above is evidence that I was killed after Madoka, seeing as I still had the time to flee. Flee, not struggle, mind you. My body is quite small and defenseless compared to you humans, as you can see for yourself. I wouldn't be able to put up much of a fight, so I would have no choice but to run. Following that train of thought, the culprit then caught up to me and killed me as well.
The next point is the contracts, I see someone has found the contract I was holding onto until death. But it seems that another contract was discovered on the magical girl, a point I find most interesting. From Kyouko's testimony, the contracts have several differences, the one on the magical girl being much less... refined. I can only assume this was done by someone wishing to plagiarize my work.
Since we have already confirmed that Madoka died before I did, let's put the pieces together. The culprit first murdered Madoka, then chased me around the room, causing a mess, before catching and stabbing me. The culprit then proceeded to place the forged contract on Madoka and half-signed it under her name. The culprit then cleaned themselves off along with their murder weapon, and hid inside the room, or perhaps they found another way out and used that instead. Regardless, the culprit left the scene before those who found the body entered. And as such, the culprit slipped into the crowd during the confusion.
I would like to confirm with the bloodstains exactly how the culprit cleaned themselves and their weapon, but with how Homura seems to have splattered blood all over the crime scene, that no longer seems possible.
Now, how do we go about catching the culprit? I'm sure there's something in the progression of the murder that my fellow sentient life forms can go about using.

"Why must you keep this going Kyubey? I had just offered to be executed! Nobody needs to listen to you bullsh*t! But if you insist on keeping this trial going then allow me to enlighten you by giving you my full testimony of what happened during the murder of my dear Madoka..." "Before I begin. Let me just drop this here..." "To elaborate further on this point. Before the murder occurred, Madoka, Kumagawa and myself were investigating the Guard House and searched the whole room. I would like to note that we had found a rusty sword inside the sleeping bag which means it had already been there before the murder. We finished searching the room and I could confirm that no one could have hid in the room during the murder. Then we were about to leave until we we're stopped by Kyubey who had entered the room. He requested me and Kumagawa to leave the room so he could talk to Madoka alone. Though I still question myself why in the world would I leave Madoka alone especially with demon known as Kyubey whom I knew very well couldn't be trusted..." *She then pauses for a moment in deep thought before she continued...* "Nevertheless, me and Kumagawa left the Guard House and waited just outside leaving Kyubey and Madoka alone in the room... While we were waiting outside. We did see anyone else go in or out of the Guard House. Then after awhile, I started to become worried about Madoka and went to check on her. As I approached the door to the guard house, I overheard them talking about contracts followed by a bumping sound... I rushed in to see what was going but as soon as I entered, I found the dead bodies of Madoka and Kyubey laying on the group...I couldn't believe what I was seeing and I tried to wake up Madoka thinking she was just unconscious but then I realized that my worst fears had come true and that Madoka is truly dead..." *She then begins to cry once more...* "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry Madoka... I should have never left you alone and I couldn't protect you... I am a terrible friend for allowing this to happen to you... I'm sorry...I'm sorry..." *She continues crying while muttering "I'm sorry" repeatedly...* "So please everyone. I'm begging you all! Just execute me right now! I cannot live with myself anymore and I am nothing without Madoka!"

Kyoko goes over to Kyubey, picks him up, puts him in her lap, and pets him. "Homura. You know he never dies right? If you did kill him, why? You've tried plenty of times before and it never works. Especially now that it has risks. We made the contract. It is on all of us. Just please don't give up like this. You have to have a little bit of fight in you. We are Magical Girls. We don't give up. In any case, Kyubey, that still means that the killer more than likely never left. Which will leaves Homura and yourself as the prime suspects.
"Who am I kidding? The killer isn't Homura. It's Alucard. Isn't that right? How? Let me explain. First of all, this first part is speculation, but you're a vampire. I'm going to go back and guess you are extremely good at hiding. The night before the murder, I came into the guardhouse and smelled the same exact gunpowder smell that Ikeda smelled on you. You were there, but you disappeared. Where did you go? In fact, nobody saw you until they turned up dead. There were no bloodstains outside of the guard house and I was keeping watch. There was no way the killer could have left. Instead, the killer hid inside the building and waited for everyone to come end before coming out of hiding. Also, the fact that you left your sword in there. You used that sleeping bag to store all of the weapons for the murder didn't you? Then, you probably hid in the corner by the door for the rest of us to come in before slipping into the crowd. Have anythjng to say about that, vampire boy?"

Ah, so much hate without basis against me. Very well, allow me to share what I saw at the scene. You see, I was tailing along with you three in an attempt to get Madoka to sign my contract. However, you three kept sprinting through rooms despite traveling in such a huge group, and it was far too difficult for me to keep up. I was quite dissatisfied with the situation, so I decided to sit inside the guard house and wait for you to sprint by on the street so I could catch Madoka. However, to my surprise, you three entered the guard house of your own volition.
Of course, I immediately offered you a contract, but the one who I wished to sign the contract, Madoka, kept moving around from place to place, making it impossible to get her to sit down and even look at the contract, much less sign it. It got to the point where I had to literally drag Madoka back when you three left to the street in order to have her look at my contract. But, I can say for certain that neither you, Homura, or Kumagawa did any investigation of the room whatsoever. You cannot claim that you found anything of note in that room, because from what I saw, Madoka did all of the investigation, and she is unfortunately dead. The only thing you can claim is what you heard after I had dragged Madoka back into the room, not anything about the room itself prior to the murder. Anything you claim of such cannot be confirmed, since it was Madoka who actually searched the room.
Now then, you may ask, 'why don't you just tell us what happened, Kyubey? You should have seen everything right?'. Unfortunately, that is also not the case. Because whenever I lose one of my bodies, I seem to forget everything that was related to my death. And so, after I dragged Madoka into back into the guard room, I remember nothing. Sorry to disappoint all of you.
But I do believe that proves that all of your 'accusation' is simply baseless whining, Homura. Do try not to get yourself killed in this trial. It would pain me to lose another one of my magical girls in this endeavor.
