"Hmmmm...I want to know why Kasumi wasn't with you then. Seems like you were all investigating as a group. What changed?" .....I don't know exactly...she told me to go check the pool. And then later Ven followed. And when the body was found, she joined us. "So you are saying that someone directed you to go to the pool before the body was found, and that person didn't go with you and cannot be accounted for after you had left? Sounds pretty suspicious to me. Care to shed a little light here, Kasumi?"

Do you mind if I just go over how this all went through again? No? Good.
First off, the motive is something few of us understand to my knowledge. I won't reveal the general motive, but there are only a few people aware to what it really entails, at least, as far as I was aware of.
Let's say our culprit encountered Sakuya whilst going out and about in the school. For some unknown reason, perhaps due to a grudge or because they understood the true intent of a certain message left behind, they decided to kill her.
They stabbed Sakuya with their screwdriver in laboratory 127, as evidenced by the drops of blood found there where the cart originally was. With the cart, they wheeled Sakuya over to the pool, possibly to keep her from leaving a blood trail behind if they had dragged her, possibly because time was of the essence to our culprit, or possibly because they didn't want to get more blood on themselves.
From here, they either waited for a period of time to let her bleed out, or they just dropped her off into the pool and let her drown. The former can potentially be ignored. This is where my theory begins to diverge from what everybody else is thinking, if you haven't noticed it already. He or she didn't nail down the boards on the cart yet.
After they confirmed Sakuya's death, they fished her out of the pool and laid her back down on the cart. With this, they then boarded up the cart and made her impossible to see without removing the boards. With this, they would have confused the ever loving hell out of us with the body announcement, as we only saw Ven and Kanji discover the body from the murder report instead of our 3rd person.
The culprit at this point decided to clean themselves up. There's no doubt that they would have been somewhat wet or covered in blood after the crime was committed, and this must have been the most risky phase of the crime for them. However, it appears to have gone without a hitch, as it took us over an hour at least to discover the body, so we can no longer deduce the culprit based on appearances, especially after we had to go get into the pool filled with even more blood to get her out of there.
The one major issue with this is the point where they completely subdue Sakuya, seemingly without a fight. At the moment, myself and a couple of others are very suspicious of the use of anesthetic being involved. This one goes out to you, Raspberry. It's not just the fact that the bottle exists here in the future that bothers me, it's the fact that the one here in the future is completely brand new, whereas the one in the present is nowhere to be found. One might argue that the bottle here in the future is indeed the one from the present, but I find that to be highly unlikely. My reasoning for that is because I have a syringe here filled with anesthetic. This leads me to believe one of two things. 1) The anesthetic I have in this syringe was already in there and did not come from the bottle in the present, or 2) the anesthetic in my syringe came from the bottle in the present. I would say that the latter is far more likely, due to people not randomly leaving anesthetic in syringes for safety and hygiene related reasons. Of course, my theory would be blown apart to pieces if we were to discover that the bottle from the future came from some entirely different place, but I haven't found any such place so far. It also doesn't help that when I first checked the Nurse's Office in the present, some syringes were still there, but after the first day, none of them were there to be found.
That... was a lot of talking from my part, I'm sorry. I've gone on with this for quite long enough, and I will be off to actually investigate the future timeline now as I have absolutely next to no knowledge of it. I'm relying on you guys to figure things out whilst I'm searching. Do your best, and good luck.
-Listens to Wine's whispering for a moment-
... That's an interesting implication. Try throwing that theory out there, I think the others would be very keen on hearing it.

"I was just randomly looking around the basement checking out the bodies. Since there were quite a lot of them there." .Um...It's probably a typo. But the gym isn't in the basement, and we've seen this dead bodies for days now. So, what's the point of searching them again? "Ah, yeah, I mean right wing. And sure, for those of you who are like "Oh! A corpse! (10 seconds later) Moving on..." it might have been for days. But for me who likes talking be it with people, with myself or with objects and corpses, I find myself spending at least half an hour in each room which was also the case right now too. And so it was my first time actually searching them."

Most likely, yes. This would be because of the blood pack that had been emptied in the pool in the present, which was... two weeks ago, if I recall correctly.

These are the encounters I recall having immediately before and after the murder announcement.
I recall meeting Snake in the Main Hall, we had a long conversation. I then went to look in the classrooms. Then, the announcement went off. I saw Kasumi is the Main Hall. I saw Jay in the Auditorium.

Seeing as rigor mortis began to set in, I think it'd be important to note that Sakuya's corpse was approximately 2 hours old by the time we began investigating. This means the culprit definitely had the time to clean themselves off. Of course, they didn't really have to either seeing as most of us jumped into that bloody pool regardless and got soaked. A pretty fine way of disguising oneself, if the culprit went with that route.

"After Hitomi and I messed with the bed, I went to the auditorium. Then, I noticed Snake and promptly left. I then made my way to the classroom with the broken sledgehammer. I tried fixing it, but the torch was apparently broken as well. So then I went to the auditorium to try something else, which is when Hitomi found me. Then, I found out about the murder."
