From the catwalk you’re standing on, you can see giant pools of black ink with enormous feathered quills sticking out of them below you. Lots of complex machinery hangs from the ceiling, just an arm’s length away, most of it designed to pick up and move quills or to dump more ink into the pools below. A few holographic control screens hover at different locations on the catwalk, along with some spare power cords, wire cutters, screwdrivers, and wrenches.
