Description:
The ground of this zone is lightly coated with sand but is quite hard beneath that layer. Hardy plants seem to be growing sparsely around the region and little stands out to entertain the eyes. A number of small craters dot the landscape with a single large crater to the south west. Sand fills the bottom area of the crater and you imagine water would gather there during larger rainstorms.
Zone Special Effects:
No Cover: This area is mostly flat with the exception of the large crater and a few potholes. Only the big crater is large enough to conceal a person so besides that there is no cover to be found here.
Open Fields: The open fields provide no obstruction to ranged attacks, meaning there is nothing to take cover with hoping to block attacks. This also means the wind is unhindered here and blows with its full force. The winds effect is increased by 1.5 times in this zone.

Periodic Lake: When it rains the crater fills up somewhat with water, displacing the sand and changing the landscape slightly.
