The stoves are gas-operated and have dials to turn them on and off. There are metal panels above the stoves to hold up the pots and pans, and prevent the fire from going out of control. The panels are tightly attached to the countertop and cannot be removed.
A metal pan has been placed on a lit stove. There's something black and burnt inside.
