The Black Rain

Hanna Association Provided Description:

The Black Rain is a weather event that impacts the southern districts. Primarily this is District S, T, and U, but has been seen to rarely reach as far as District D. During particularly heavy weather the falling water shall turn black. This Black Rain is more akin to mud and comes down with enough force to pound the exposed with lethal force.


The Black Rain appears to have some form of instinct and control, as it actively attempts to pull down people caught in it and sometimes the mud will coalesce into beings, which will actively attack anything they come across. As the rainfall weakens the beings in turn will weaken then begin to slip into any drainage systems. Any Black Rain remaining exposed once water ceases to fall appears to rapidly harden and collapse.


The Black Rain is a hazard to anyone operating in the southern districts. If the source can be identified and destroyed, the Hanna Association will provide a reward collected from the numerous people affected by the rain.

Flow's Notes:

Without a lead on the cause, it is more important to just be aware this exists for now. Seek shelter if rain rolls in while you are down in the south edge of the city. If we ever get a lead I'll setup a full job to go stop this stuff. Ruined a couple real nice days that got even me contributing to the reward pool.
