I find it incredibly hard to navigate this forum, especially when I just joined. Creating an easily accessible guide for viewers on the forum will help bring in new members. In addition, sorting out categories would also help out... a lot...

I agree that certain areas have begun to be cluttered, most of the off topic has become very mashed together. I feel there are a couple things I would want to clean up, but could you tell us which areas you had the most confusion with? That way we can tailor the experience to be more new-user friendly. Changes and Items I would make: - Update the News and Announcements sections. Alot of the information there is outdated or buried under to much stuff to be found easily.
- I would add a new On-Topic Category for people who are discussing things related to the forums, but are not directly working with any current seasons. An example being all my Eclipse Chronicles Stuff would go there as it reflects the site, but isn't directly important.
- In the Off-Topic Section I would add a "Off-Topic Archives" for threads in the Off-Topic that have long since died or no longer see use. That way new players and old players alike do not have to dig through assorted garbage to find things.
- Lastly, In the Suggestions and Feedback section I would add some boards to further organize the specific feedback that needs to be given. A board to Season Feedback, A board for Suggestions, and and a board for Forum Feedback like these.
Sadly, while I talk big game I do not have the administrative privileges to make it happen. Sova, if you are reading this can you look into doing this or at least create a position with enough rights that they are capable of this kind of stuff?

I have had past experience with creating forums, and I am willing to "clean up" the forum boards and categories for easier management and accessibility, but it would require having a staff position with global powers, which I would assume the Admins and Owner(s) would rather place in a an older member of this forum.
-I do think that the Suggestion and Feedback board should NOT be further divided into further categories, because that is the exact thing that I don't want. Just keep it this way, since members can voice their opinion about anything on the forum.
-The News and Announcements section is alright at the moment, it just needs to have titles in the threads placed in it should have dates, and only should hold the info within the thread itself. Ex. Title: "8/16/14 Update"
-There needs to be a General Board in place of the Off-Topic Section. This would allow a variety of threads to be made, and even mini-games on the forum. Mini-games can get quite popular and last quite a while. In addition, in this General Board, there is no need to have an "Archive" as it's fun to sometimes bring back old discussions and ideas.
-Also, a New Player Guide would fit best in a Rules Category on the forum, and then further placed as a permanent announcement, so that new viewers can find it no matter what category or board they enter.
