As a beginning statement, I would like to say that I am an accomplice, as I am the one who had opened Willard's door.

My hands are stained with blood, and I shall not run from this fact.

Okay, so here's my original thought. I think William commited suicide with the intent of stopping the (then-berzerk) Berzerker. To support my theory, I've found that the burns on his body are most severe by his waist, where his belt is burned beyond all recognition. I found a shattered little glass container filled with ashes, and the same ashes on other parts of his body. I think this was a sort of "grenade" that caused the fire which took William's life.

This is a sort of rough draft though, I'm in no way certain about this.

Right, I guess I'll begin with an introduction to the events that transpired yesterday. I will also mention that I am an accomplice to this murder, though it most certainly wasn't intentional.

We returned to the Grand Foyer after investigating the Garden to find that 3 of our Golden Cylinders were missing. This led to a number of us going to search for them. Lancer, Willard and... Servbot were opening up rooms in the West Wing on the first floor. They found one of the golden cylinders in Prince Maahes' room. We then rode on the Berser-car and headed over to the infirmary to discover that two types of poison were missing, namely Belladonna and Yew. Afterwards, we went to the Garden and eventually found the remaining cylinders.

We then returned to the Grand Foyer and inserted the Cylinders, which then led to... a request for blood, put one way. Willard and I agreed that it would be best to try and proffer up some blood rather than kill anyone. So I stabbed him and he cut his palm, and I immediately set to healing him.

I can't remember what happened next, but after speaking with both Servbot and Bernkastel, they told me that I was knocked out by Berserker. Willard then set to patching his wounds up with my gauze, which was then severed by Berserker. Afterwards, Willard supposedly threw down some flour and caused a sort of dust explosion that blinded everybody. I woke up right as it cleared up again and looked around for Willard. I assumed that the only other place he could have gone to would be his room, because it would be safe under normal conditions.

However, as I arrived, I noticed Lancer was standing in front of the door, and Berserker had entered the room. The door was then shut and Lancer left towards the Grand Foyer. I heard extremely loud banging coming from Willard's room, and Lancer then opened the door only to be hit with a blast of fire. He was fortunately not wounded. I then went into Willard's room to examine his charred corpse, and took his sword as well as his box. His sword and box also had curious markings, akin to skid marks. I assume these caused the explosion. I could test it myself seeing as I have them together right now, but I'd rather not as it's... well, dangerous.

I returned to my room to leave some things behind as I heard loud roaring coming from the East Wing. I left afterwards and headed towards the Grand Foyer to witness Berserker and Servbot engaged in a duel. It appeared that Berserker was victorious, but Servbot faked going unconscious, which led to Berserker passing out after he deemed himself the victor. Servbot then got back up, perfectly fine. I offered to heal both parties after the fight, but both sides refused treatment as they were supposedly fine.

The next day, I went to Willard's room to check his corpse and perhaps discover more information. The entire room was charred and covered in ash. I checked Willard's eyes and mouth and nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. Prince Maahes was dissecting the corpse, so I decided to look with him. I discovered that the stab wound wasn't very deep, but I suppose that I am still an accomplice. Other things of note were that the organs weren't burned in the slightest, so Prince Maahes and myself deduced that he must have died from the impact of the explosion, as his ribs were broken due to the explosion caused by his sword and box. Willard committed suicide rather than allow Berserker to kill him.

(TL;DR WITH WHAT HAPPENED - WE GOT THE CYLINDERS IN, PALACE WAS THIRSTY FOR BLOOD, WE OBLIGED AND I STABBED WILLARD AND HE CUT HIMSELF, I STARTED HEALING WILLARD, GOT KO'D BY BERSERKER, WILLARD TRIED TO PATCH HIMSELF UP WITH MY GAUZE, BERSERKER THEN CUT THE GAUZE, WILLARD USED THE EQUIVALENT OF A SMOKE BOMB WITH HIS SWORD AND SOME FLOUR, HE THEN FLED TO HIS ROOM. I WOKE UP, WENT TO CHECK THE EAST WING OUT, SAW LANCER OPENING UP WILLARD'S DOOR, AND BERSERKER WAS IN THERE. LANCER LEFT AND THE DOOR WAS SHUT SO I COULDN'T INTERVENE, AND THEN EXPLOSIONS. I CHECKED IT OUT, FOUND WILLARD'S CHARRED CORPSE, TOOK HIS SWORD AND BOX AND LEFT TO MY ROOM. BERSERKER WOKE UP AND ENGAGED IN THE ART OF FISTICUFFS WITH SERVBOT, NOBODY DIED.)

(TL;DR Autopsy - Willard cut himself with his sword, and was stabbed by me. I was healing him but only finished about halfway through before I was knocked out, so he tried patching himself up and was stopped by Berserker. He then fled to his room and was probably dying at this point from blood loss, kudos to me. Seeing Berserker in his room, Willard used his sword and box together to cause an explosion, which knocked Berserker out and cracked his own ribs. This is what killed him. So technically speaking, Willard committed suicide after a series of unfortunate events. Lancer is an accomplice as well as myself, though I'd like to refute that claim as the stab wound wasn't very deep when Sova and myself were dissecting him.)
