The backstreets of District D are bathed in a temperate climate, perhaps due to its position near the center of the city. As such its streets are rarely beset by the extreme heats or chills of the other regions of the city. In addition with no borders with the outskirts it finds itself beset only by the dangers that already call the city their home.
The backstreets, having been without a functional wing for multiple years now, have settled into a general state of controlled chaos. Syndicates and small fixers offices clash on the regular while the Fingers periodically engage in turf wars. The streets are swept clean at night by swathes of Sweepers, making it hard to ever determine just how high the body count is. The worst of the clashes have shifted into the remnants of the D Corp Nest, making the backstreets oddly the safest place in the whole district.

Residential Megastructures Uncountable numbers of massive apartment complexes litter the backstreets where the majority of its populace call home. The buildings are relatively un-damaged, protected as they are by the law of the city that residential structures are not to be damaged. In addition to these super structures are a mixture of amenity buildings like garages, but these have almost all been universally abandoned. > Abandoned Residential Garage |

Fixer Offices Fixer offices litter the landscape of the backstreets, with an office found on every street and corner. Most are no name gatherings of nameless rank 9 fixers. But here and there special offices stand out. >The Forum |

Workshops In far fewer numbers than Fixer offices, Workshops also find a place amid the backstreets, selling gear to outfit the fixers. District D, having been Wingless for so long, has only basic workshops. Any shop with gear beyond the basics would find itself raided and pillaged before days end. > Dismas Workshop |

The Hollow Alley
A long straight away of road leading inwards from the west towards the remnants of the nest. For a distance of one mile, the road and walls are scattered with human shaped hollows as if someone had been pushed into them whilst concrete was being laid.
The area is quiet, with syndicates and fingers alike giving the area a wide berth. The hollows are littered with notes and scraps upon wishes are written. Calls for aid aimed at the Silver Hollow, placed by those too poor to hire fixers in hope Silver will answer, as he once did before in this very place.

Nest Gate The entrance to the D Corp Nest, once heavily guarded and where incredible numbers of people were scanned, approved, and rejected for travel. It is now abandoned, its facilities covered in dust and torn apart where necessary to create a clear path. Anyone can enter the remnants of D Corps nest. > D Corp Nest |
