Coming out from the Palace, there is a marble courtyard before the actual garden. The courtyard is designed like a chessboard, alternating black and white tiles. Potted plants dot the courtyard, as do circular glass tables and two long glass tables. There is a moat starting from the ends of the wall of the Gallery of Mirrors that leads out into the Garden. It is flowing with water.
At the edge of the courtyard, the horizons of the Garden can be seen. The Garden appears to be walled in by high-rising walls. Nothing beyond the Palace grounds can be seen.
From the edge of the courtyard, a pathway is made by two lines of potted trees. The pathway forms a circle around a large pool of water with a fountain at the center, and comes around into a straight path again. Behind the trees are small fields of grass that are cut and shaped into designs. These grass fields are bordered by more potted trees. The area as a whole is shaped like a square.
Two more large pools of water with fountains occupy the courtyard after the square garden. Following the pools is a wide set of stairs that leads to a lower level, followed by a wide semicircular set of stairs that leads to a large fountain. A statue of an armored man holds up a sphere from which several streams of water burst out. Many statues of men and dolphins dot the fountain, the dolphins spouting smaller streams of water themselves. Statues of men, women and urns border the courtyard in front of the fountain. Two square gardens occupy the sides of the courtyard following the fountain, trimmed into five sections, a circular center and four symmetrical squares cut with a quarter-circle curve.
Continuing from the fountain area is a wide pathway bordered by decently tall trees. Covering most of the path is a rectangular field of grass leading. Several unique sections of the Garden are within the trees. Openings in the trees lead to them. Following the pathways in the trees, it is clear that the trees are cut into square-like sections. In total, there are ten sections.
The first two groves are parallel to each other, called the Groves of the Crown Prince. They are composed of a series of paths that converge at the center to a fountain. There are two paths leading from the center of each side to its opposite side, two sides leading diagonally from each corner to its opposite, and a square path cutting through all of the others. Within that square, another square path turned at 45 degrees connected the midpoints, where quatrefoil clearings are located.
East of the eastern Grove of the Crown Prince is the King’s Mirror. The King’s Mirror occupies two sections itself, and is separated unequally by a causeway continuing from the path between the two sections. Much of the King’s Mirror, which is a large pool of water, is located in the northern section. It is rectangular in chap, with elongated semicircular ends.
South of the King's Mirror is a grove with many twisting, confusing pathways. At the entrance to the grove, there is a metal sigh connecting the trunks of two trees high above, reading "The Labyrinth." The Labyrinth is composed of numerous winding and intersecting paths, and it is impossible to find the correct way through it without some sort of guide.
The rest of the groves are in ruins. Statues and fountains are crumbled. Broken stones cover the remaining five groves.
Following the pathway between the Groves of the Crown Prince, there is a large, wide pool of water. In the center is a series of statues. The largest statue is in the center, surrounded by a circle of other statues. The central statues spouts water straight into the air, while the others spout water in the shape of arcs. The fountain is located in a larger square-like clearing, which continues directly into the Grand Canal. The Grand Canal is an immensely long strait of water, intersected by another straight in the center, similar to axes. At the end of the Grand Canal, the strait expands into an expansive pool of water. In the water here is a group of ducks, swimming around.
Surrounding the Grand Canal is a vast expanse of greenery. Multitudes of sections for different types of gardens are located throughout. It is almost impossible to navigate completely due to its size. The Biodome is on the right end of the Grand Canal.
