(Upon opening the journal, you see several entries. They read:
“May 12th, ‘03
Today I had a most interesting day. A day full of the joys of being a young girl.
I met a young lord. His name was almost as handsome as his face - Nascio.
I never thought that I would feel such a thing as love, but it may be so.
May 31st, ‘03
Nascio and I crossed paths once again. Today we were able to talk truly to one another.
My feelings were only confirmed. He shared my ambitions, my qualities, my strengths.
We have decided to meet further in the coming days.
June 6th, ‘03
My hopes for the throne that I so desperately keep hidden were revealed today. Lord Nascio is a cunning man, but not one that I need fear. In truth, he might be the best tool I have to succeed in my machinations.
July 20th, ‘03
I have finally made my decision. All my efforts from today will be towards reaching my ultimate goal. I will spend the coming years making the right preparations.
When the time is right, I will have what I deserve.”)

Upon placing the tiara on top of the bust and placing the diamond in the empty encrustment, the tiara shines and the diamond attaches to it.

(Upon examining the leftmost tapestry, you see that the wall behind it is a façade. There is a small handle on the wall behind the tapestry.)

Upon pulling the handle, the wall opens, revealing a hidden enclave. Inside is a gold cylinder.
