This area appears even more disheveled than the rest of the ship, as all foot traffic appears to need to come through here. Fire suppression systems, parts needed to repair the ship, weapons and armor are all stored here and it's a struggle to even push through to get something due to all the people. It appears to be quite close to the engine due to the heat, or perhaps that is simply due to the sheer number of people.
Periodically the intercom crackles to life with commands of different areas of the ship to fix, or where to maneuver next.
