Name: Steven Armstrong

Backstory:
Steven Armstrong was born and raised in Texas, and he played college football as quarterback for the University of Texas (not at some cushy Ivy League school as some may claim), later joining the United States Navy due to a desire to serve his country, in turn sacrificing his prospects of a professional football career (he’s not one of those beltway pansies). After leaving the Navy, he moved to Colorado, being elected to the State Senate and later as one of two senators representing Colorado in the United States Senate.

Sadly, due to a chain of events that are best forgotten, his attempts at revitalizing the American Spirit fell through despite the immense strength given to him by his own physical training and nanomachines (he could tear the President in half with his bare hands). Now, former Senator Armstrong is here to spread the American Way however he can.

Backstory: A German girl who had a knack for inventing and hacking. An accident led to her hands being basically useless but this barely deterred. In fact, she got to work on making cybernetic enhancements to them. Years of working on this way led to her modifying mystery items known as Safehouses into robotic like bodyguards. She also created a translator device due to the fact she spent so much time improving herself and her gear that she never learned anything beyond German.

After everything that has gone on in her life, she had decided to take a cruise to relax and figure out the next step of her life.

Name: Hal Emmerich, alias 'Otacon'

Backstory:

Genius engineer and accomplished otaku Hal Emmerich comes from a long line of military contractors.
His grandfather was the man behind the Metal Gear series of walking artillery, and Hal himself perfected the concept. 

Hal was once a man without direction. After meeting the legendary soldier Solid Snake, he resolved to seek out injustices, to right wrongs wherever he saw them.

Backstory: A workaholic and shrewd businesswoman, Sigourney runs a tight ship, managing her minions employees and making sure she keeps her investors happy.
She greatly values her time and disparages everyone who wastes it, whether intentional or not; after all, that's time she could be using to make money!
Perhaps one day, she'll retire and be able to explore some hobbies with all that free time she's accrued,
but for now, she's got a business to run, meetings to schedule, and underlings workers to oversee.

Backstory:

A Panda that discovered magic in gemstones and set out on a journey to collect ever more. Since then his life has been a series of up and downs as he finds, and loses, that which he seeks. Through luck or perhaps some ancient magic resonating within he never goes long without finding more, but his gentle and generous nature keeps him from retaining the wealth and power forever. Thus Taegrus shifts back and forth, sometimes a gem-bound king, other times a wanderer with naught but a few shiny baubles. Nonetheless he imbues the gems with magic and grants them to allies for brief, but glorious, effects.

Character Name: Valstrax

Backstory: A powerful monster hunter who has hunted great beasts and dragons, a hero who has helped and saved others. His weapon is the armor he dons as it amplifies his body and ability to great degrees. He can create a blade and large shield from the energy he holds and it can turn into a greatsword to wield in battle.

Backstory:
Raised suckling on the sweet nectar of casino, listening to the rattling of dice like it was a toy mounted on his cradle, watching blankly (as young, impressionable children do) as men won and became gods or lost and were buried under the weight of their inadequacy, Ællibis knew that he would be one of the two (there wasn't that many options, to be fair).

He's won it big, of course. He's a bright, friendly guy... until he's put behind the roulette. Or slots. Or poker table. Or board game (with money bet on it).  Someone might say "quit while you're ahead" or "cut your losses". No matter what excess he has had, nothing comes close to the catharsis of going all in. No matter the outcome.

Keep your heart of the cards and other bull**** to yourself. It's time to play.

Backstory:  Mizuki is  a brand new Special Agent and Psyncer. Having lost her left eye, she now has a replacement eye equipped with advanced artificial intelligence (the AI-Ball "Aiba"). Despite still being a high school student, her strong physical abilities and clever mind have earned her a special accommodation in ABIS. She currently feels lost after losing her adoptive Father, and because she is still young she is usually underestimated.

Backstory: Melusine was one of the daughters of a faerie and king, although mother took her away from father when he broke his oath. A sheltered child, she knows little of the world outside her isle. As one with a serpentine tail, she was confined to the rivers until she discovered her affinity toward magics of density. This allowed her to swim through both ground and air. Following this revelation, she was often be found dancing with storms as they cross the land. Her siblings rely on her to bring them around the island, typing a knot of her hair around their wrist to keep connected as they swim about. Melusine can get mischievous when bored, pranking siblings with tickles and binding them in her hair.
(She would probably get a hair related weapon like a comb and just slap people with high density hair if we get to that)

Backstory: Nothing to see here. Just a cute little familiar who decides to stick with some strange travellers. Seems to be particularly aggressive to one of them though... Surely nothing strange here!

Backstory: A kindhearted peace loving girl who is also very timid and naïve. She also has an evil pet twin sister who really despises her yet she still loves and cares for her sister so much that she's been trying and failing so hard to pacify and convince her sister to give up her evil ways through peaceful means.
