Zircon Zephyros
This if my Official Application for Season Zircon Zephyros and may be selected as the next season I host or to be done later. This season is a little bit different in what you can do to win and the overall map of the game. So without further ado lets get into the Gun Heavy Gold Rush that is Zircon!
Beginning of the Plot
Something strange has appeared in the world, an area not unlike the Bermuda Triangle, but on land. A massive area of land surrounded by buffeting winds that prevent almost all from entering. All of those who do enter... never return. Until now, word travels of a man who has dragged himself from the winds. He was found on the edge of the area covered in wounds and carrying a large heavy sack. The story goes that the nearby people who found him discovered him clutching the bag for dear life, like it meant everything in the world and more. They say one of the ones who saved him went blind from the shine of the pure gold that appeared from the sack when they opened it.
After some nonsensical governmental debates, the man was allowed to keep his gold and an announcement made. That any who entered the winds and uncovered its secrets would be granted a sum of one billion dollars along with whatever wealth they managed to carry out on their own. Some whispered of a conspiracy to make people enter the winds, but those were hushed with great readiness. This drew the ears of people from across the world, 1 billion dollars and whatever you could find yourself... It would be enough wealth for 10 lifetimes, double that if you managed a big haul. It was a simple deal for many who accepted it. A high stakes wager with their lives on the line, but a payout worthy of a god, or something close.
Although nobody was willing to walk in with no preparations, the one survivor lay in the hospital, gold held close, as he recuperated. Many would walk in his door to ask him questions of what lay beyond the wall of wind. To all who asked he told the same two things.
"First I warn you of what waits on the other side. There you will find incredible wilderness with almost no civilization in sight. The only people there will be yourself, those like you, and the dead. Make sure to be prepared to survive out in the open. My gravest warning is of what killed those I met in the barrier, from which I barely escaped with my life. A monster, I never got a good look at it, just heard it and seen its shadow tear my friends limb from limb. It howls with the wind, when you hear the wind howl then flee with the wind at your back. As fast as you can, or death shall be all you return with. That is my first piece of advice. Now for the most valuable advice I can offer you if you hope to return from that place.

Bring a Gun"
This is our preamble, leading us into the story of the men and women who braved the wind. They would march into the world and confront the beast. They would gamble life and limb to reveal the secrets of that place and return rich. They would dice with the devil himself for greed and gold. The world knows exactly how many went in, but only the winds know... how many came out.
UNIQUE MECHANICS
Golden Victory: When the game ends, meaning someone accomplishes the final mystery or everyone in the Wind Zone is dead. The winner will be the Richest Living Player. Of course if you win via the final trial you get that massive billion dollar prize pool so you have a good chance of winning just through it. But the greediest of players may be able to overturn that value.
Golden Stash: Gold and items of wealth are scattered throughout the map, players may collect as much as they can from these and return it to their stash. The stash may only be used to store items of wealth and items may not be stolen from a stash unless an ability allows it(and even then expect the amount stolen to be minor). All players have their own stash. At the end of the game all money in your stash and on your person will be counted towards the Golden Victory.
World of Zircon: The world of Zircon is set up in a regular room based format like previous games, HOWEVER, each "room" is actually a large area of nature. So one area could be a mountain, plains, forest, swamp, or whatever might appear. Each of these areas of Nature will be organized into a grid format(I will probably use roll20 to make the grids and then capture them as images) and players will PM me their moves throughout the grid they are located on. This means that your general location can be seen with movement posts, but not your specific grid point. This grid system is to allow the effective use of guns and other ranged combat weapons like bows and slings. Each will have different effective ranges and advantages/disadvantages. The wind will skew your aim, so be careful when you take pot shots!
Governmental Punishment: This is the wilderness! Justice is only there when served by your own hands, but the world yearns to know what is happening inside the wind walls. When the game has ended, via final trial or all players inside the wind wall are dead, the players will then be allowed to vote for the murderer of EVERY player who died in the game. If you are a murderer and are caught guilty in this final Vote, you will be thrown in jail and have your money count reduced to Zero! This will be the case EVEN IF YOU GOT THE BILLION from the mystery. Although it does mean that players who know people were witnesses may hunt down those who saw it and end their lives, preventing their votes. If a player decides to leave the wind wall mid game(aka escape the map) there gold count will be frozen and they will be allowed to vote on all murders that occurred before they left the wind wall. Players who leave the wind wall may reenter at the cost of half of all the money you own, in order to resupply.
Victory Conditions and Titles
Skybreaker: Solve the Mystery and using the billion dollar bonus, emerge Victorious!
Blood Money: Emerge Victorious via Golden Victory after having no one solve the Mystery and killing at least ONE person.
Screw the Rules, I have Money!: Emerge Victorious via Golden Victory when another player solves the Mystery and gets the Billion Dollar Bonus!
The Rules of Season ZZ will rely on the base rules for the other games.

General DRMMO Game Rules
Next are the unique rules of SZZ. These rules supercede the ones in the general rules so if I overwrite one of those rules here, the one here stands.
1. Paranoia doesn't exist!
2. There are no verbal bullets or Red/Blue Truths!
3. Carrying Capacity is 5. Player's all weigh more than that but may be dragged around should the need arise.
4. The Dead are DEAD FOREVER. If a player so desires they may "rejoin" as a bandit, but will be forbidden from killing or winning. The only goal of the bandits is to steal as much money as possible!
5. There is a limit of 3 Accomplices/Scene Editors for each crime. After that, the evidence can't be destroyed or messed up. The Mastermind Will stop those actions, with Violence if necessary.
6. Trials as explained above in Government Punishment. Exception will be the final trial to solve the mystery, although that's more formality than anything.
7.Cheaters will be punished by being removed from the game. I hope to never be required to boot someone, but if I deem you are hurting the experience of other players through illegal means, then expect Blood.

*Gun/Weapon: This is what your character will bring into the Wind Wall with him/her. This can be selected from a variety of ranged weaponry. Melee weapons are forbidden for this choice! Snipers and explosives are also initially forbidden due to their immediate power in the game. Bows, Crossbows, Slings, and some other olden weapons are acceptable. This may be Pmed to me and does not have to be directly in your character application.
I host all my seasons in EST since that is where I live and doing it in other time zones confuses me immensely if I am trying to plan things. If you cannot actively play during EST then feel free to contact me and I will make a workaround that could involve you queuing up actions or simply allowing you to play through an entire day's worth of stuff in an hour or two. I am flexible so don't think I am gonna deny you just because you want to sleep at night, I do to.
