Brass pipes wind around the chamber and toward chimneys which expel toxic gas from the caverns. Vents bring fresh air from the surface down and large fans send it into the other tunnels. Creaking pumps keep the pooling water at bay and redirects it toward the yellow crystal tunnels. Malachite and other green crystals grow around the pipes, holding them in place. A woodpecker construct hops around the chamber, chipping away any formations that start to block openings or pipes that it needs to reach. A dwarf occasionally pops out to tinker with parts that stopped.
