A dark chamber with amethyst and other purple gems speckled on the walls. A distortion in the center warps all light toward it, creating a sphere of emptiness. Tentacles reach out of it, clinging to crystals around and slipping into pools. Water drips into the area from the lake above, an occasional ripple across otherwise still surfaces. The water is perfectly clear, but the bottomless darkness shows nothing.
