Fuyuki 2007
At the end of a long and bloody Holy Grail War, a single Master and Servant remained. The master intended to use his final command seal to force his servant to commit suicide. But the Servant remained, unmoving after the command was given. After a short conversation, the Servant murdered his master, claiming the grail as his own. He stated his wish.
“Rebuild my tower upon this land, and complete it. Join this land with God’s once more.”
But the grail lacked the power to do so. Bringing back the age of gods was not something it had enough energy to do. After a moment of consideration, the servant realized the solution. The Grail War was no more than a ritual to obtain the energy needed to summon the grail. In which case, simply hosting a larger one, with more servants, would do the trick just fine.
Though the Fuyuki Grail was corrupted, the Servant cared not what would happen to this world.
“Why should I care if this world burns, if we may all rest in the embrace of the Lord?”
~~~5 Years Later~~~
-Mage Association
The Clock Tower suffered a break in, and a massive loss of life. One of their leaders was killed, and his intended catalyst for summoning stolen. The leader awoke in his new body, one prepared for such an eventuality as his own death. His new body had started developing its own personality, and it began mixing with the old. Hazama was born anew, and he intended on getting his revenge. And maybe getting a little more power for himself from the rest of the association too …
Plans for Mage Association: The break in was by Informa. Hazama put a target on Informa's back. Eventually face Hazama or join him in a large battle. Hazama would have slowly chipped away at the Mage Association using his servant Lee Harvey Oswald to put unhealable wounds on all Mage Association and dangerous church members. Attempting to heal these would would only worsen the damage. Hazama intended on abusing Chino’s abilities to camp and slowly wear down any and all who would try to fight him.
-The Church
“Adrian, you failed.”
Were the heavy words given by the tribunal. Adrian had been tasked with keeping one girl from escaping. One ward from leaving the custody of the church. And he had slipped. She escaped, and Adrian couldn’t even begin to guess how.
“She’ll be joining that upcoming war. This is your one chance at redemption, Adrian. Find her, and kill her. Atone for your errors.”
Adrian’s biggest weakness was revealed. He wasn’t a monster. He was no robot who could simply kill as the church ordered. He was simply human. The easiest way to take care of Lucia Loptyr would have simply been to kill her. And yet he couldn’t.
Plan for the Church: Eventually Adrian would try to get the church members to kill him for his weakness.
- Matou Family
The Matou Family head didn’t particularly care about this war. His goal was the root. What need had he of such a massive scale war when he could focus his efforts on the one occurring in another 45 years in Fuyuki? As such, he decided to take his least favorite family members, the worst of the bunch, and arrange for them to be selected as masters. He would implant a certain worm into one of them. It would require them to eat the rest of the selected masters before an allotted time. Should the host be killed, it would simply join the killer and slowly eat away at them.
Plan for The Matous (Basically just Yoshikage and Festa) Would have a fight, and whoever won would have the worm implanted in them. They would gain stupid skills and mana (100+) but slowly start chipping away at their sanity and maximum health + stats, putting a time limit on them. Predicted winner would have been Festa, and her ineractions with her servant as she slowly lost sanity and health would have been amazing.
- Tohsaka Family
3 factions divided the Tohsaka family after the head died. One which stayed true to the path of the magus. Cold, unfeeling, and their goals always set on the root. Another simply wanted out. Enough magecraft, enough of reading in cramped libraries all day. They wished to accomplish something in the world, instead of leaving their findings to the next generation, and passing on having done nothing. The final group intended on putting a young family head, one who could lead them to a bright future. The most talented child seen in the family for generations, they were sure that the war would have her grow. The three of them reluctantly agreed to select representatives for the war, with the winner.
Plan For Tohsaka: 3 way battle between the Tohsakas. Predicted result: Wakamoto would win against Tsubaki, but have a curse placed on him. He would request for Serena to win the war, giving Serena a reason to fight everyone else, adding a major player.
- Einzbern Family
Placing 2 homonculi in the war, the family planned on having the younger sister become the grail, and the older sister wishing for a path to the root. The interference would have been Mirio
Plan for Einzbern: Scrapped due to player inactivity. The Einzbern sister was kidnapped early on, and trapped in the church. Mirio needed to find this early, else risk the season ending soon. The longer she spent, the closer the Overseer would come to completing his wish, as having 2 grails obviously means more magic power than 1 ‘^’
100 Cap Plots:
Informa: Collect massive amounts of mana, blow up the world using his servant. Win if he blows up the world. <Not intended to happen.
Vinny: Survive until 2 of the church members dropped, able to win from there. <That was never going to happen. After Ivan died, Lucia Loptyr was keyed into the overseer’s plan and would have been trained as his accomplice, becoming the *actual* final boss of the season.
Season Plot:
This “arena” was made by the Fuyuki Grail, explaining the corruption and “glitches”. The previous world was already destroyed by the overflowing Grail, leading to this current world. The Overseer is Nimrod, the man who wanted to build the Tower of Babel. There were 3 main endings (excluding the 100 caps.)
1) Players would fight, with Mirio not discovering the captured Einzberns. The Tower is built, and all players are invited to climb to Tower to God.
2) Players would fight and eventually discover the Overseer’s plot and defeat him and attempt to make their character’s personal wish It would be too late, and he would erect the tower upon a burned world, forcing players into the tower.
Secret) Players would discover the corruption of this land, and near the end, figure out what happened to the previous world. They would wish upon the grail, after defeating the Overseer, to fix the previous world, and the tower is never built, with said Player saving the World.
