The steel bridge, adorned with gold pillars and lined with countless lights, extends across the sea. A light breeze chills the sightseers, and the odor of gulls and dead fish wafts.
A curved, triangular arch looms over the passing vehicles, two flags perched atop it. At the center, a steel grating connected the arch and the bridge. It connects the East and West cities.
Parts of the bridge are scorched, and another part has debris strewn everywhere as if a bomb has gone off.
