You all look a little disoriented, so let me explain. You've been welcomed to the wonderful world of Gensokyo!
Here you can find the most wonderful flower viewing seasons and human-eating yokai there are in the world. I have, however, set up a few rules to prevent too much chaos from happening.
1. You cannot tamper with any of the locations. This includes destroying parts of buildings and setting things on fire. It takes a lot of money to repair things!
2. You do NOT have a maximum item carrying weight. That being said, items probably won't help you very much...
3. You CANNOT murder OR attack people. This includes, but is not limited to, knocking people unconscious, injuring people, and tying people up.
4. If you wish to attack someone, you must initiate a Spellcard Battle. If you attack a non-gensokyo resident, I will personally step in to defend them. Spellcard battles must be initiated in the same location as your opponent.
5. Each Gensokyo resident will receive 3 Spellcards and 1 Last Spell. Spellcards have a 1 hour cooldown time, and will be chosen for each Gensokyo resident at random. Last Spells can only be used once per day, and will also be chosen at random.
6. During a Spellcard Battle, you can perform a variety of actions, including using skills, dodging, and activating Spellcards. You must be specific in your actions, otherwise you will leave more room for error (basically RNG).
7. Spellcards can be activated at any time. When a Spellcard is activated, the field will change accordingly, and your opponent will be flooded with danmaku. If you don't know how to dodge your opponent's spellcard, good luck...
8. Spellcards can be used to bomb as well. Bombing will usually break your opponent's spellcard, if one is activated, and can potentially inflict massive damage onto your opponent. However, using a Spellcard as a bomb will be considerably easier for your opponent to dodge.
9. The winner of a Spellcard Battle is allowed to do whatever they want with the loser. This includes killing them, stealing their Spellcards (good luck figuring out how to use another character's Spellcards though), stealing their items, tying them up, or whatever else you want.
10. There is no way out of Gensokyo. Don't even bother trying to find an exit. Once you come in, you're here to stay. Now let the games begin!
