Hey... that -is- pretty strange wording...
However! I would like to point out that if that is indeed the case,
Why are the chains eroded and not fractured or split evenly?
Furthermore, why would there suddenly be strange rocks at the scene?
While we discuss Sova's thoughts, let's talk about these things as well!
We cannot overlook an unturned stone!
EDIT:
Where I am confused about the wording is...
Why Sova is questioning/focusing that it fell on certain people,
rather than the fact that it fell altogether...
It does make her suspicious; but I would like to hear Sova's words on the matter.

Well... it is a bullet
As such I want to examine it. However, like I said, it -was- eroded.
If your luck caused it to fall, it would be cut or cracked instead
