So, you wish to take part in the Holy Grail Wars? Then, an explanation on summoning a servant first.
Before summoning, there are several things you should know. While every Hero must fall within a class, some have the qualifications to be summoned in multiple different classes. Let us take Heracles, one of the most well known heroes in the world.
When Summoned a Berserker, he has his own set of noble phantasms. When summoned as an Archer, he will have the same set, but without the madness enhancement. Losing the madness enhancement gives him access to the absolute strongest noble phantasm he has available. In this way, in terms of raw combat, Archer Heracles is objectively stronger.
However, Archer Heracles will draw even more mana from the user than Berserker Heracles will. (Mana drain is determined by relative strength, remember) Not only this, but the odds of drawing him are low. Heracles is famous for going berserk and killing his family multiple times in his legend, meaning Berserker Heracles will simply be more likely.
From this, each servant has a class that will be stronger than the others, but that does not mean it is the most likely.
Finally, there is fame, and origin. The more famous a servant is, the higher their stats and subsequent mana cost will be. Heracles and Achilles are such heroes. Their fame is so high, that the boost they get in stats alone is higher than most servant's bases.
Country of origin is another. If the servant is in a place where their legend is from, they obtain sharp boosts to their stats, at no extra mana cost.
Both of these stack, and will stack with any buff skills servants have too.
Summoning Your Servant
To summon your servant will require a conversation with me. Summoning a servant requires a catalyst. This can something like a piece of the Round Table to summon a knight, or simply requesting a certain name.
Here is the list again:

Please note servants that make no sense like Gods, those that require possession, etc. will not be allowed. Seasonal Servants from FGO will not be allowed. You can ask me if I'll allow a servant. This can be used, or a separate legend of the player's choosing can be used. From there, there are 4 methods to make a servant.
1) Choosing one from the list, and having me roll for their class.
Pros:
You get the servant you want
Cons:
Class is up to my rolls
The classes of a character will heavily impact their strength.
2) Choosing a class and having me choose the servant.
Pros:
Odds are you'll have a servant you get along with.
You can choose the class
Cons:
Could get a weaker servant, or a servant with too high a mana cost for you to handle easily.
3) Creating your own servant with me.
Pros:
You get to make a servant
Klea will probably art it
Con:
It goes through me, and I'm very particular about balance.
4) Having me just give you as servant from your backstory. Will still require details, in pms.
Pros: You get a servant you guaranteed get along with
Cons:
Random Class and Servant.

Those who opt for the more rng methods (specifically, 2 and 4) will guaranteed have a Servant that their character will get along with, so long as the app was truthful.
This process will be entirely done in pm's, so don't put anything about this in your character app or here. You want your servant to remain a secret.
Keep in mind, acquiring the catalyst is a journey of its own, so make one reasonable to your background. If your character is from a Family, odds are obtaining a catalyst of your choice will be quite easy.
