Mopeds have been modified to have a max velocity of two miles per hour; these vehicles are meant to be taken indoors for the elderly and handicapped. There are a total of five mopeds parked into a charging station. Premiering as a prototype, a sleeping pod, encapsulated in baked modeling clay to give the appearance of a hatched alien egg, is provided in this rest area. A tablet is hooked up into the prototype, giving a GUI of what’s basically a reservation/queue system for the sleeping pod.
