On maps, this lane is called a hall, but with no consistent ceiling or walls, this area is more reminiscent of a strip mall. Streamers and decorative string lights make diagonal paths from treetop to treetop. Bystanders surround a fountain, either leaning against the fountain’s rim or tossing coins at it. Water spouts out of the mouth of an overweight beckoning cat statue. As the sunlight bears down on the event hall, the sunlight glistens off an object embedded on the underside of the statue’s beckoning paw.
