Mildew is evident in every edge and corner beneath the sink. Rotting produce is left in salad and fruit bowls on the kitchen counter. Broken shards from ceramic bowls and plates are found within every three steps. There’s a broom precariously leaning against the refrigerator, but cobwebs and corpses of flies bind the horse hairs of the broom together. Dishes and glasses are placed in the dishwasher, but even the dishwasher is covered in grime and oils.
