While face painting is usually meant to entertain children, Waku Waku Douga has hired professional makeup artists for the older attendees of the convention. The Face Painting Area is open between 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a two-hour break for lunch. A foldable stand displays high-resolution photos of sample outcomes and a lengthy paragraph containing prices, disclaimers, and the refund policy can be found below them. Along with carts, stacked with makeup tools and kits, there’s also a case locked via a four-digit dial and paint brushes with watercolor and acrylic paint for aesthetic.
