A large make-up kit is exposed on a counter across from the entrance of the bathroom. Two cheongsam have been ironed out and carefully laid, side by side, on the hotel’s standard twin-sized bed. Four solid-colored parasols are gathered beneath the room’s sole air vent. The parasols have the appearance of paper, but all four of them are effective at being water-resistant. Facing the mirror in the bathroom is a mannequin head; the plastic mold is equipped with an orange wig. Five pairs of scissors are arranged by increasing size on a length of black cloth.
