The Sewer Tunnels
You walk into the Sewer Tunnels splitting off from the central sewer and find that all these tunnels have a walkway similar to that of the Central Sewer, one along each wall wide enough for four people side by side. Separating the walkways along each tunnel is a large river like stream of water, almost like a canal. The water is constantly flowing at significant speed towards the Central Sewer and you use this to your advantage to keep track of your location as you walk these long dark tunnels.
You can't see well here as the area is only barely lit by the spark twilight filtering down through various manholes, preventing you from seeing more than several yards. This darkness makes exploring this place much more difficult, but you find your way in time. After following one tunnel for a time you find a kind of intersection with another tunnel in a + shape. Here the water pours in from multiple directions before splitting off down the path towards the central Sewer. You find that there are thin grates you can use to walk across the watery rivers here, but the center of the + is completely uncovered. You continue your exploration down these varying tunnels and find that you have access to many such places in these tunnels.
Much like the streets above, the Tunnels are setup in a grid like layout with the single circular Central Sewer at the center. You find there are three squares of tunnel you can pass through surrounding the central sewer before you are once again confronted by the blue wall blocking you passage further out. You do see that the blue wall does not extend into the water, but a massively thick grate has been dropped into the water at each edge, preventing passage under the wall. You suspect the waters current is so strong you would be unable to pass even if the grate was not present. You turn your attention to the other places you can get to from the sewer and find numerous ladders leading back up to the manholes on the Starless Streets and believe you could easily move back and forth between to two to evade any notice. You do notice though, that even with the steady rush of water sounding in the tunnels, sound travels through this place very easily, echoing outwards from anywhere. You think doing anything loud down here would be immediately obvious to everyone in the sewers, but tracking the sound through the interlaced tunnels would be quite difficult.
As you wander you find there are several areas in the tunnels that have been used for other purposes. Specifically in the Northeastern tunnels you find a series of carved out holes in the walls where tables have been setup which you could go explore. Alternatively, you did see a huge number of carved out squares in the tunnel walls to the northwest where you thought you saw beds and other such fashioned items.
In the crossing south of the Central sewer, you can see a very slight bloodstain on the ground near the edge of the walkway.
