Season Description
After rising crime became a major problem, the government stepped in and created Criminal Colosseum, an annual television show in which a group of criminals are forced to compete in a game show to the death, with the winner being allowed to have a second chance at life and the others are executed. However, things have changed this year; instead of criminals, contestants without a criminal past have been chosen to compete.
The Rules
Everyone will be competing to see who can earn the most points. There are two ways to earn points: murder and puzzles. Each puzzle room will offer between up to 5 points (depending on the difficulty). However, committing a murder and getting through a trial without being caught will yield 10 points. If the culprit is caught, all who voted the culprit will receive 5 points! Every round, an elimination will occur and a new floor opened up. At the end of five rounds, the person with the most points wins! Everybody else will be executed.
Eliminations
Every three hosting days, the current round will end (unless Investigation or Trial is happening). At the end of each round, the player with the lowest points will be executed. In the event of the lowest two being a tie, the decision will be randomized. After Elimination, the next floor will open up and the next round will begin.
*The number of days that go on between eliminations may change by the time I host*
Five Floors
The Colosseum has five floors. Each new floor will unlock after the time limit for eliminations. As such, this game will have a maximum time limit of 15 days (3 days per floor). At the end of the time limit, the person with the most points will win and all other players will be executed. In the event of a tie, a final showdown will be held to determine the winner.
*The maximum time limit may change if the time between eliminations is changed*
Points
Getting Away With Murder: 10 points
Voting the Murderer and Murderer Being Found Guilty: 5 points
Puzzles: 1-5 points
*Puzzle points will be determined by the difficulty of the puzzle and how much you contribute! If you walk in at the last minute to try and solve the puzzle without doing anything at all, don't expect many points, if at all. Point distribution is COMPLETELY up to my jurisdiction*
Scoreboard
There will be a beautiful scoreboard in the trial room that will display the current first place and last place points. However, it will not show who has those points.
Plot
There will be hidden plot this game. Enough said. Find it and possibly get a plot ending or just ignore it and murder everybody else.
AFK
If you are in a puzzle room at the end of a session, you may continue working on that puzzle outside of hosting times. Just know that points are only given during hosting times, so you will not receive your points or be allowed to move between rooms until hosting begins again. Murder will not be allowed outside of hosting times.
Trials
Trials will use the colored bullet system (Inquisition, Verbal, Testament, and Flume)! At the end of the trial, there will be a vote in order to execute the culprit. If the culprit is executed, then the game continues with nobody receiving points. However, if an innocent is executed, then the culprit will receive 10 points.
Trial Attendance
TRIALS ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY!
For the last session of the trial (after the investigation phase has ended), all people will be gathered in the trial room if they aren't there already. Even if you are hiding. No exceptions.
Items
Along with having the typical 5.0 weight system, you will also be required to tell me where you place the item. If you want to carry 3 large but lightweight poles that are 1.5 each, you have enough out of the 5.0 to carry it, but you may not have room to carry them since you more than likely only have 2 hands. Also, if you have something in both your hands, you may not use the items as well.
Noise
This was a problem with Paradise. I will be changing this. This isn't really a rule, just me stating that sound will be handled more realistically this season. Just because you scream, doesn't necessarily mean everyone will be able to hear you.
