The Clash Elevator
As the doors of the Elevator slide open you see the inside of this box and its real size, previously hidden by the door and walls. The elevator extends roughly 5 yards from the floor to the ceiling while the length and width of the elevator are closer to 3 yards each. Stepping inside you find that this elevator could comfortably carry 5 to 6 people in it and could carry upwards of 10 uncomfortably, but it has a weight limit of 1500 pounds.
The elevator, surprisingly, is one of the few rooms that appears to be lit by a real lightbulb. Six circular indentations can be seen in the roof of the elevator, blocked off by thin pieces of plastic, each filled with a lightbulb. As a result, the elevator is unnaturally bright compared to the rest of the Complex and every nook and cranny is easily visible here. The light reflects harshly off the stainless steel that form the walls and door of the elevator. The floor itself appears to be constructed from several deep brown tiles, likely latched atop more steel forming the elevator's cabin.
You spin back around to face the door of the elevator and see two panels of buttons, one on each side of the now closed elevator door. The panels are identical with no visible differences and you identify a total of 13 buttons on each which read:
[9] [10]
[8] [7]
[6] [5]
[4] [3]
[2] [1]
[<>] [><]
[HELP]
At this time, it seems that the buttons for floors 7-10 are dimmed and pressing them has no impact on the motion of the elevator. The two buttons with arrows seem fairly obvious as to their purpose in either holding the door open or forcing it to close. The HELP button seems apparent, but it is not obvious what kind of HELP it is referring too.
Beneath the panel to the right of the door is what appears to be a sealed compartment, locked by key. You presume this leads to the wiring and some internal control mechanisms for the elevator. You look around the elevator once more and find that what looks like a trap door is visible in the roof of the elevator, situated between two of the six lights. It also appears to have some kind of locking mechanism requiring a special key to open.
Along the back wall a large imprint of what looks like a card with a magician imprint on it glows blue. You feel like you could just push through it...
