So while we stand about waiting to watch this video, does anyone have anything more to add on Kubato? Any more theories or maybe even suspects?

The 23 hrs may not actually be off if Kuboto was killed before the lightning struck him and stopped the watch. Though it is just as likely that the killer was waiting for lightning to strike and that was the closest to the time of the previous kill as they could make it.

The cursed one may have some ability to control the curse and not need accomplices? Though the rock casts doubt on there being a curse, so perhaps there is a group at work here... It would be to their advantage to trying and make us believe in this curse... Perhaps get us to start killing each other in their place...

No, this is undoubtedly the work of a single murderer.

There is nothing to gain from a group at work here. I've already discussed that a single culprit with the motive of stopping the former president from investigating them has committed these murders.

The culprit used the screwdriver found in the garden shed to unscrew the chandelier that fell on Shion. They used a method I've already described many times in the library to murder Kubato. Then they used the rock to break the glass on the ceiling of the observatory to kill Jacques. Right now we should focus on finding the VCR tape the former president left us. It's obviously important to the culprit to keep the tape hidden.
