The Starless Streets
As you step out into the city you find yourself alongside one of the many streets running through the Starless City. The eternal twilight of the city shines here providing enough light to see for some distance, but before long the streets extend into darkness. You review the general setup of the streets of the City as you have walked them before. Every street consists of two lanes, one for cars going in each direction as well as a sidewalk on each side of the street. Sitting upon the sidewalk right in front of the Complex entrance looks like a corner piece of PVC pipe, which doesn't look like it was here before.
As you walk through you confirm that this section of the Starless Streets is in a perfect grid format, with streets running perpendicular and parallel to each other, splitting sections of buildings up into squares. As you wander the street blocks you find what appears to be an almost translucent blue wall as you wander farther away from the Clash Complex. A touch reveals the wall to be solid and you cannot seem to push through it. Following along the wall you find that it is forming four walls, creating a square around an area of the city, the Clash Complex at its center.
You count four streets running north to south and four more running east to west, forming 20 different building areas between the streets within the boundaries. The center is the Clash Complex, extending high into the sky. Its domed top making it the tallest building within the boundaries. The majority of the other buildings in this section appear to be abandoned. Each of them two to three floors high with boarded up windows and doors. With tools you could break into them, but you don't expect to find anything of note. It looks like a couple buildings south of the Clash Complex have had the boards blocking them torn off.
There do appear to be several buildings which are in better repair and have been set up for visitors. Specifically you see three buildings whose first floors have been occupied and have lights on. A Lord's Blessing store, a kind of general goods store, sits to the eastern part of the area. Two other buildings have an Arcade and a Gym as their first floor which you can access, though they do have tacky signs. Both are located in the southern section of the city.
To the west of the city you see some storehouses and other high rise buildings, though most are abandoned. At this time the un-abandoned buildings are completely sealed and you are unable to get inside. You find several larger more residential structures in the northern section which you suspect belong to the Starless Lords, but these are also sealed. Scattering the streets you also find manhole covers which you presume lead down into the sewers, but at this time all of them appear to be sealed up tight.
There are no lights along any of the streets as they appear to be semi useless in the eternal twilight of the city. On the edges of the street you do find the periodic Newstand and garbage can, but little else to cover for the stark emptiness of the city.
