Fae picks up the coins and twirls them around her fingers. She flips one and catches it between her palms. Slowly lifting her hand, she takes a peek to see which side it landed on before replying, "Seeing as Stein Weapons are simply a part of your research, your goal for this game is Ally."

"That is indeed correct. The ultimate goal of this game is Ally. I'll let you ponder who or what that is for a few more questions, but we will get there."
-Finire rolls another coin over to Fae as he flicks up another index card-
"I should have made your Stein Weapon a piggy bank. It would have been quite useful right now. Moooooving on! So you all know the purpose of the game, who was involved, and some of the basic background of the things you all are holding. Now, What was the purpose of the document I provided to everyone at the beginning of the game? The Traitor Research Tracker. Why in the world did I give that to everyone instead of secretly handing it off to my Traitors?"

"My room might as well be a piggy bank with everything in it. There are probably piggy plushies sitting around as it is."
*Fae rolls a coin to intercept the rolling coin and then pulls the toppled coins over with her glaive*
"The Traitor Research Tracker can be used to keep track of the MAKE corruption in the Stein weapons of the players. You handed it out to everyone because it had not been ready when you gave the traitors their traitor sheet and giving it to specific people would show who the traitors were. I half suspect that you gave it to everyone because it would be simpler to explain about MAKE corruption if everyone had a visual reference.

"Hmm...well 75 points for remembering what I said. That is correct. That piece of paper was for tracking the percentage of corruption in each player's Stein Weapon. Though, bearing in mind everything that has happened.....Which of the Players are my Traitors?"
-Finire casually chips off a piece of a coin and tosses the larger piece to Fae-
"No need to worry about the consequences of the traitor's being revealed when answering this question, so answer without any worry!"
-Finire goes ahead and flips to the next index card-
"And to keep things moving forward as this does tie in with the last question as well. What are the three primary forms of MAKE corruption in this facility?"

"I'm afraid I have little idea who the traitors are. I only had conversations with three players in this facility and two of them were for a single encounter before they disappeared. If we go by appearances, Makioka Sova has a chance of being a traitor, but she is not able to read English and her boots are too loud for sneaky work. Jotaro Kujo has an ability that would fit the role of a traitor very well, but his actions would indicate that he is not. Mari Yamasaki could possibly be a traitor, but she had not been doing any particularly traitorous things. As for the others, the most likely candidate for traitor would be Nana Yumesaki for her stalking tendencies, but if that is the case then I want my fish back. According to the announcement, Indrid Cold has also been somewhat active. He would also make a decent candidate for a traitor as he could pass off everything as simply another trick. So my guess for possible traitors are Nana and Indrid simply because I have nothing else to go off of."
*Fae slices a few grooves into the piece of coin and slots the other coins into them*
"The three primary forms of MAKE corruption are gold, emerald, and amaranthine."

-randomly enters the room- "I have sensed a great urgency from one of our residents, and so I, the great and noble saint Toyosatomimi no Miko, have appeared!" "It seems we are determining who the traitors are! Very well! I will begin by purging the heretics who would reject Taoism! In other words, everyone! It will be a witch hunt on a grand scale never seen before!" "I begin by guessing Fae and Mari, because they are the closest!"

"Points to Fae for.......getting the MAKE question correct!"
-Finire tosses a coin to Fae-
"As for the traitors....well. No one is correct. I'll let you all continue to ponder and try to answer that as we proceed."
-Finire flips the next index card-
"Based on the document provided and information gleaned in this facility. What was the traitor's role and slash or purpose?"

"Then perhaps the traitors are Hiro and Makioka. It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to convince Hiro..."
*Fae starts cutting slots in the other coins and connecting them into an upside down pyramid balanced on a coin*
"Traitors are intended to create chaos, perhaps for the purpose of revenge. However, the only two that you have met before are Indrid and Miko, so they are the only targets for an unlikely revenge plot. Depending on the performance of the traitor, they might be given the chance to join you in your plot against Aeturnus. Otherwise you might just send them off in other ways or leave them locked up in this facility."

-Finire scratches his nose-
"Hmmm....... Is that really the truth? Nah can't be. Unfortunately those are not the traitors nor are the traitors intended to create chaos. They had a very specific job and I do recall mentioning something about it in passing...."
-Finire seems to ponder for a moment-
"Lets toss in a new question, off the books, and see if this gets people in the right direction. How were the traitors instructed to win this game?"

"I suppose I shouldn't have relied on the book. Lets see... what else was there about the traitors... You did mention that you would explain before the game began, but I do not recall the explanation. If we go by the Traitor Research Tracker, their goal is to discover the corruption percentages in everyone's Stein Weapons. They were to turn that in with their traitor sheet."
*Fae twirls the pyramid of coins and watches it fall apart*
"Who else could be the traitors... Could they be Marrion and Jotaro? The ones that seem least likely would be able to hide their objective well."

-Finire tosses another coin towards Fae-
"Indeed. The traitor's goal was to fill out the tracker sheet they were provided. They had to fill it out according to a special Victory sheet that I said they would have to come find from me personally later. The victory sheet stated the necessary state of the Tracker that would trigger the traitors to win. Though it is strange. If I said I was going to give out that second piece of paper secretly....why did I give the first to everyone? Well, that's not a question for points, but good to think about."
-Finire flips to the next index card-
"Oh, and no they aren't the traitors. So, now that we know the traitor's goal, my goal, and the player's goal.... And we even know my ulterior motive as you answered earlier, which is Aeturnus."
-Finire spits out the name and acts like he wants to clean his mouth out with soap-
"Taking all of this into account. Who or What is the Ally and how do they/it assist in my accomplishing my end game?"
|
|
|

"And now I'm out of people to accuse aside from Miko... Unless you wanted both traitors at once. And would the Victory sheet be different from the Traitor sheet?"
*Fae rolls the coin into the collapsed mess*
"As for Ally... I would assume that Ally is the result of your experiment here, with the goal being a penultimate MAKE that trumps blood MAKE."

"The victory sheet explicitly stated the requirements for the tracker sheet to be turned in for victory. It does not have the chart and places to input information and is purely informative."
-Finire ponders for a moment at your answer-
"Well you landed near the dart board, but not quite. The terms Penultimate MAKE and Blood MAKE don't really have any relevance. I don't need another version of Penultimate MAKE nor do I need to overcome a MAKE based on blood. Try again!"

*Fae starts rolling coins through the roads around Time's Tower*
"Then I suppose you are searching for a MAKE that overpowers Blood Weapons instead of simply lessening their effect."

"I could just pour any kind of penultimate MAKE all over them to accomplish that. Quantity, not quality, tends to increase that effect. So unfortunately no."
-Finire rolls a coin across his fingers-
"Let's take this step by step then. I am running this game to get something or someone I refer to as the Ally. The traitors were required to track the players and turn in their findings, which I would assume helps me somehow, since why else would they even exist then? The players' goal was to find a way out, which required killing people OR collecting the three keys to this room."
-Drops the coin on the table-
"So if we consider that all three of these should reasonably lead to the same outcome, you can infer what/whom the Ally is based on what it SHOULD have in common with the other two, three if we split the players goals into the kill and collect options."
